Being the first African-American woman to become a registered architect in the states of New York and California, Norma Sklarek became a model for rising young architects. The Norma floor plan pays tribute to her high-profile projects offering towering ceilings and clerestory windows in the large entry foyer and a suspended 10'-6” high ceiling in the great room that creates that ‘grand' feel as you walk in. This home also features a flex space that allows optional dual junior suites or an optional fourth bedroom, a large skylight over the kitchen island, and a banco at the covered entry porch which creates a space for delivered packages to be out of view from the street.
