This was our first home purchase and our experience throughout the building process was phenomenal. Unfortunately, that level of service ended when we signed on the dotted line and handed over the check. There were a few remaining issues to be resolved at closing which we were promised would be handled promptly. That was not the case. We were left to project manage those repairs on our own along with the additional ones that popped up shortly after closing. Word of advice — when building with Pulte, do not close on the home until all issues are resolved or added to the escrow list. ... More

Basic construction pretty good. Finish work less than expected. Only been in house for six weeks so still discovering the “warts”.

There were a lot of inconsistencies between what we were told as far as timelines and our options, and what actually happened. There were numerous errors that were caught along the way with design and at one point almost walked away from the home. However, in the end the quality of the home turned out great, but not the exact design we were hoping for. ... More

I found the quality of work just so so. Would rate as an average home builder. Had problems from the start and throughout the build. Nice looking home, but you will pay, just like any other new home build for the upgrades, which will probably be a lot. A lot of problems along the way were addressed right away, others not so fast. You need to be very vigil throughout the whole process. ... More

Both my husband and I think that Pulte should consider the following as standards. Prewire, front landscaping, height of toilets. These are just some examples of things that are basic common sense. For the amount of money one is paying, we expected these to be standard. ... More

People were always very reponsive to me. No complains. However regarding quailty of material is perceived after a little more than a month in the house. The whole second floor squeaks, in some areas very loud where we avoid to walk when little kids are sleeping. Carpet instalation is very poor, there are places where it is already pealing off and also there are many places with carpet nail not properly installed that hurts when we walk over. Hardwood Floors have gaps in some areas which are not supposed to have as we can see in the rest of the house. I believe the one year review will take many days to solve all the issues. ... More

My wife and I found a home in Trailside we really liked, we had noticed the neighbors fence looked like it was encroaching onto the property. I had mentioned this to everyone at Pulte we spoke with Sales, Field manager, Pulte Title company. and we were reassured it would be resolved. we have lived here 2 months now and I have made 4 calls to Title company to find out what actions are being taken to resolve the issue. He says he has contacted Legal and they would be in touch with me and still nothing. ... More

During this COVID-19 outbreak, I am reluctant to get any issues regarding my new home at Reverence resolved. And yes, there are many. Some big, some small, ranging from a hot water heater that doesn't deliver, to a sagging kitchen sink improperly installed with it's caulking falling out. All in all, I am most discouraged by the quality of workmanship that went into building this new home as well as being very dissatisfied with the quality of materials installed. Have some been repurposed? Will I have to spend additional money to redo things? For now I have to let go of these concerns. I am more fearful of opening my door to have repairs made and replacements done. I remain optimistic all issues will be resolved when this crisis ends. Since I haven't contacted Pulte Warranty it would be unfair to give them a rating on responsiveness. ... More

Understand normal new home shortfalls, but the workmanship was a bit sloppier than we expected from a large, reputable public company like Pulte.

I discovered a couple of issues in the construction and service. The Pulte provided a decent quality of service until the closing date. After signing on all the required paper, my request or inquiry email is not well responded. Follow-up appointments extremely hard to schedule. Project manager tried very hard to stay on top of crews, but fell short in drywall and paint. Drywall was not installed properly and we tried to hang a ceiling fan only to have 5 nails pop out in the ceiling. Down the hallway you could see the drywall bow and swerve in and out. Paint in carpet, across tiles and in the grout; which was never sealed, not even in the wet rooms. ... More

The kitchen is great. Everything else is good but not as good quality as we were expecting with what we paid for it. It looks very nice at first glance, but once you move in you notice so many details that were missed (like bathroom counters half an inch away from the wall on one side, etc.). In the building process, a lot of nice and assuring words were said that did not necessarily always happen in the end. ... More

Beautiful home, but moved in with multiple issues. Construction and cleaning crew did a poor job leaving paint spatters throughout the house on the outlets, carpet, windows, and tile floors. It took 2 months to get water heater to work properlt and two main walls downstairs are visibily bowed. Overall nice home but they do not allow for ANY customization which is a significant disappointment considering how expensive these homes are. They have a decent selection of finishes, but upgrades are costly from base selection and even basic items are costly to upgrade. Overall feel of house is nice and would only change a few things like increase the size of the garage and adjust layout of the basement if the builder would allow. Absolutely avoid Pulte Mortgage at all costs. ... More
