I have put in several work order emails. Tino has come out and was helpful but I’m still waiting for several other emails to be answered. For example work order about drywall tape, a hole in my slider where you can see thru the top of the door.

We were rushed into a quick closing and we do not presently live nearby. So far, we are simply dissatisfied with the warranty department and their inability to resolve urgent issues quickly. We had a flood of water come through the front door May 6, in a rainstorm. It’s rain season and this isn’t fixed yet. This issue has not been taken seriously as we thought it should have been resolved by the end of that week the latest. We would say that we have some lack of trust with Pulte Homes. Received a brand new home that doesn't look new at all. A lot of details missing, on top of a terrible paint job on both the inside and outside of the house. Entrance to the house was never pressure washed by the time we close on the property and lets not even talk about the terrible cleaning job both inside and outside the house. There were a few items done incorrectly and the quality of things such as paint on walls and front door could be much better, as an example.

So far we have been mostly disappointed in the craftsmanship rather than materials. Attention to detail in workmanship and quality control needs improvement. To date, post-closing warranty issues have been addressed.

We love our home, I should start with that. We are so happy with the location, lot, and upgrades that we chose. The floorplan is perfect for our growing family. However, we had many issues along the way. Our PM was difficult to deal with and did not want to help us with problems that his contractors caused (hole cut in the ceiling, cafe light installed in the wrong spot). New home owners need to make sure they write down all of their change order numbers and colors and Pulte comes back and takes care of all of the little things that you didn’t see when you move in, be persistent on that. As a first time home buyer a lot of things were missed in the upgrading options. HOA going up with not even being in the home for 2 months with no notice. Just the whole buying experience and process was not great. Lack of communication.

I was pleased with the price but the workmanship was left to be desired. There is still painting that needs to be done we need new carpets because the worked got paint on them.

The overall build process was good, but we were severely rushed through the close process. We were asked to sign off on items that weren’t fixed in order to not delay our close. We were promised multiple times that the remaining items would be fixed immediately. But we’re over a month post close and most of these items remain open. It's difficult to thoughtfully rate our home buying experience in such a brief summarization. By far there are more positives than negatives. Building a home is a huge undertaking, and no matter how hard you plan, there will be things that go wrong. Unfortunately those are the things that stand out when asked in a rating like this. My advice, it's really important to be very detailed oriented and go over each step with a fine-tooth comb, and then go over it again. Our sales rep., Gita Adib, was lovely and very helpful. Our field manager, Shawn Turner, was very nice and responsive to our concerns. We have to say that after closing, responsiveness is NOT good. We were given 30 days from closing to email a list with cosmetic concerns that we wanted addressed. Most, if not all, of our concerns were noted at our "Celebration" walk through and not taken care of. A representative from Pulte, Brad, was sent to take a look at our requests and he set up two appointments with us. He seemed very nice and understanding about the things we wanted taken care of, going so far as to say that he and his wife wouldn't accept the things that were of concern to us. On the day of the first appointment, no one showed up to do the work. When we called, we were told by the person who answered the phone, Sadie, that there were no appointments scheduled for us but she would have Brad call us back. That was six days ago. We have phoned every business day since and the first two days we followed up we were told that Brad was busy and he would call us back when he can. The last two days, our calls have been sent directly to voicemail, with no call back from Sadie or Brad. Very disappointing. Someone we know built a Pulte home in another development and had the same problem. She finally wrote to the corporate office and finally got someone to call her back. They were great, mostly kept to deadlines and built the house much faster than I expected. The quality was very good, but probably not "luxury" as described. The house shows beautifully, but everything is just a tiny bit smaller than it looks when you start living in it (showers, width of driveway, size of garage, dishwasher, sinks, etc) all feels smaller than it looks in the model.
