Overall, Pulte builds a good home. The one area we were not happy with was the quality of the finish trim work - too many gaps and too much caulk used to hide mistakes. Our field manager was OK but not overly responsive. Workmen were very sloppy. Strongly recommend with Pulte or any of the big builders that you visit the property at least every other day to make sure things are done properly. Would not recommend having the home built while you are living elsewhere as you will likely have a few unpleasant surprises when you show up for the closing. ... More

The house is nice, a few issues were found and are being addressed, quality was overlooked for time it seems in parts of construction. The hoa fees are high, especially for the area, and there so far is no reason for this...no play areas, garbage not included, and a gate that is only closed evenings. Would have got 5 stars but my AC line wasn’t hooked up and leaked out into my walls and floor, doorbell didn’t work, oven was broken, melted parts in my dishwasher, grass was dead due to a covered up sprinkler head.

First, we love the location and the house as a whole. The layout is great and the house has plenty of storage compared to our last home. We are completely satisfied with the products used to build the home such as the appliances, flooring, faucets, etc. That being said, we have had problems with the details of the finished product. Primarily details in craftsmanship such as flawed cabinets being installed and left as finished, cracked granite counter top, return flex duct in the attic not properly attached and sucking in hot attic air, just to name a few. All avoidable with attention to detail from the trades and construction managers but this seems to be a theme after to talking to several neighbors. Initially, responsiveness to issues was a problem but with our new construction manager the process has seemed to smooth out. Would have been a higher review, however our salesperson was difficult to contact and was not competent in the homes he was selling. Flooring in our home began coming up within days of move in.

It’s a little unfair to write this review in the middle of the COVID-19 virus and with stay-at-home in effect. I was so excited to move into my new house. I love the floor plan of the model I purchased; however, I thought many of the upgrades I purchased were quite expensive and I now I also have a list of issues I would like to have addressed inside the house. The reason I say this is unfair to write now is because Pulte can’t come in and respond but I do believe they will as soon as possible once we can all go out again. Home is nice and overall it is fine and we're happy. The warranty process is slow, we believe because of the high volume of issues with other homes in the area because of poor sub-contractor work initially, a seeming lack of attention to detail by sub-contractors initially and of course, COVID-19 is doing us no favors with the home warranty action. This causes a lot of home warranty requests that overwhelm the team assigned who have been in contact with us constantly, but the items are numerous and I don't believe this is Pulte directly, but from a lack of "do it right the first time" by the sub-contactors. Those that come to fix see the issues and seemingly display a lack of understanding of why it couldn't have been done right at first. Again, nothing really major and we are overall fine with the home, it just seems like death by a 1000 cuts, but we have to say Tino Velez that is managing the home warranty process with us is actively doing his best and working with us closely and we appreciate that otherwise, we'd be less than happy at this point. We are being patient and giving him the time to coordinate the various groups to get the home in top shape. ... More

My husband an I have built 3 hone in 30 years. This build was a major disappointment. The list of Items in the house that were not finished properly is too long. Pulte can call me to discuss if you want to know more.
