Very nice people, but a cumbersome process to get any warranty work completed. We have been waiting 6 weeks for touch-up paint.

Lots of punch list and pick up items were not completed prior to closing and now after closing post 6 weeks they are still not even started. The design center should have had better pricing for the consumer to compare and contrast, and should have had more options. The side yard set backs are terrible and need to enhance the community property better. ... More

Gorgeous neighborhood. Nice and quiet. Good sales staff. I kind of felt like I was being scammed by the mortgage company. The construction guy was a moron; he did not finished the final walk through list before closing. The majority of items are still unresolved a month later. ... More

First, the good. The main employees you deal with are great people. They really are. But the line is pretty much drawn there because their hands are tied to corporate policy that’s not conducive to a quality product. Answers to questions and problems are “the labor force is terrible”, are not acceptable and should never be when buying a half million dollar home. Several subcontractors just flat out do not care about the quality of their work. I’m not sure why but it’s really none of the consumers concern. The end result though is a poor product. I bought a Pulte home back about 1 years ago and the experience was so much better then. Not anymore. ... More

So many oversights during construction. Supervisor (Dom) made promises that never happened, lied about carpet pad being replaced after a second plumbing leak. He said he inspected the plumbing after each time the master tub was installed (4 times)Two days after our walk through none of the work on our punch-list was done and then all the blue tape that was used to mark deficiencies was taken down without any of the work being done. Made what should have been a happy time for us beyond stressful. Josh and Tony seemed to be the only people that cared about us and the quality of work but they didnt get involved till after Dom failed to come through. ... More

We purchased our home in February, closed in July and moved in at the end of July of 2019. During construction, the house was always a total mess with garbage thrown everywhere and graffiti written on the slab. Prior to the house was not cleaned nor was it cleaned post-close. The issues that were noted on the walk-through were not addressed prior to move-in. We are now in the process (end of August) having the issues fixed. Our construction manager simply walked away and handed us off to customer service without completing the walk-through list. ... More

Moved into a beautiful new home thinking all would be perfect, now after 4-8 weeks nothing but issues from carpet coming up in the corners seams splitting, horrible wall texturing, corners not even close to being somewhat square, holes in drywall counter tops having to be replaced due to not installed correctly, hole under kitchen island with rebar coming through it. We had a great initial experience while at the model home and home design process. There were minor issues which were easily resolved. Towards the end things went poorly. It was obvious there were milestones that needed to be met even if standards would be sacrificed. We ended doing our final walkthrough with the home being unfinished. There were literally walls that were unpainted and holes. When we closed there were actually still open holes with exposed electrical pieces. I received many apologies and excuses. It is now two months after closing and still receive intermittent emails about how they will update me in 48 hours and this is over a week ago. My biggest mistake is giving good marks on their quality survey, which they will ask you to do. I guess it was foolish of us to think that they would not complete the work that needed to be done if we gave the low survey scores they actually deserved. We spent well over $500k on our home and would recommend that you consider your options carefully given what we have experienced and are currently experiencing. ... More

The sales force is wonderful. In general, the home is beautiful. However, after moving in, we saw many, many small issues and a couple not so small. The most important one's are tile poorly installed in the foyer and edges on the corners of the kitchen island that were not finished off and are very, sharp posing a cutting hazard as you walk by. Repeated requests for assistance go unanswered by the Pulte Warranty office. ... More

We had issues from the get go with the Design Center to the Project Manager to Pulte Management. Every little thing was answered with "no, we can't do that", or "we're not a custom home builder." The Design Center was limited on some items and everything that was "included" was old school, old colors, or discontinued. There was one tile included for the floors and bathroom tile; it was beige. From there, everything was an upgrade. Now onto the Project Manager....while our house was being framed, I was a puddle in the middle of the house from the rain; the project manager's response was "it happens and depending on your flooring selection, it will leveled out." What? Next can you not put up tile racks in the bathrooms? Project Manager: "we have to do everything the way it is on the specs." Again, what? We're talking a minuscule item! City of Henderson Water Dept couldn't sign off because Pulte failed to comply in time after begin rejected twice by the City. Fortunately we knew someone who worked for the City, and Pulte corrected the problem knowing they were coming to inspect so we could keep our closing date. Prior to that at our walk-thru, the project manager told us that our closing would be delayed because they put in the wrong carpet. Really? And we were just supposed to say "oh, okay." No once again, I got on the phone with our sales person who really couldn't help and then I insisted that her manager call me. The next day miraculously the manager "found" the same carpet in the area and it was replaced. Our framing on the master bedroom window sags; and the ceiling/floor is off by 3/4" thus making crown molding almost impossible. Another wall is not level. The painters did a horrible job on the exterior. Paint is all over our pavers and there are some areas that aren't finished off. We love our house but we would not recommend Pulte Homes. The only positive things I have to say about our home is the view, the architect who did a fabulous job utilizing the space, and the flooring. ... More

Worst framing I’ve seen in years. Studs missing, no corner studs, single king studs around window openings holding up thousands of pounds of roof tile. Electrical wiring pulled with the sheathing pulled off of it. Wires taped together buried in the walls. Outlets covered resulting in excessive opening made in the drywall to locate them. Gas lines moved and only tested after I questioned them About it. Names constantly missed spelled in documents and even yelled at our lender on the phone because they thought it was a robo call - really your a business! I would never had boy this Property had I know about the pending litigation and recent customers waiting for nearly two years to have properties corrects. I would never recommend Pulte. seems like everyone is trying to get their bonus and hit their goals by rushing to close. After moving in, I realized there are excessive amount of repairs and fine tuning needed (very sloppy work). Spending few minutes in each room during walk thru is completely insufficient. That burden should not be placed on homeowner and it should be with the builder/field manager. Paint drips all over the floor and carpet, gaps and chips throughout the house, loose faucet/sink, etc..etc.. Seems like there are too many homes going up at same time and not enough quality control and not enough field manager to spend time in each home while they are being built. The response and attitude is .... "just close now and let home warranty deal with it. I closed and hit my goal and it's home warranties responsibility now". My neighbors have been dealing same ongoing issues with home warranty for almost a year now. I'm hoping that won't be me. ... More

Terrible customer service. Entire neighborhood in Blackrock is upset about the problems and multitude of issues they have had with their home. Beer bottles found in our attic left from their workers. Our entire flooring has to be re-done. Cabinets were putting In incorrectly. We have paint issues all over the home. Broken doors and selves in the bathroom closets and storage spaces. Broken doors that were not replaced. Incorrect placement of dual twin water heaters. Incorrect plumbing that was done and needed to have plumbers come and correct. Things as simple as having the toilet rolls placed to close together such that you cannot place toilet paper on them. Still has not been fixed....this is the building 101. The price of the homes are really expensive because of the location and the views. The quality of the work and the customer service response is less than standard and sub par at best! I would never purchase another Pulte build again. Unfortunately, this was our dream home so we are stuck now. ... More
