Do not go with the Pulte lender!!! They will make you jump through hurdles for the same rate another lender will offer you for free. We got our keys but we’re still sending them documentation. Watch everything in the build process. Take notes & stay on top of the construction manager to get stuff done!! ... More

Every single trade of my home had to be redone in the build. If there was a half or corner to cut Pulte did it. ZERO Ability in providing the customer what you buy.

I would not recommend building with Pulte to anyone. The sales process was bait and switch. They tell you one price and up it for things like lights which a normal builder would include a flush mount light in a quarter million dollar price tag. They give the cheapest items possible, the price point and marketing claims your getting superior luxury, it’s a lie. The corporate office will not back their product, they don’t communicate. They allow construction teams to give terrible customer experience, bad builds. Almost every trade on my home had to be ripped out and redone 2-3 times. If it weren’t for contracts We would of gone a different route. The president of the company refuses to acknowledge customers. Still dealing with getting things finished, every item is a battle to get complete after closing months ago. It should be simple, you tell your client this is what your providing & you do it. Not with Pulte. Not at all trustworthy. I would not recommend Pulte. ... More

I was so excited to build with Pulte as we had purchased a model home from them three years ago. We had picked out the perfect lot and did over $100k in upgrades too! I had expected a few bumps in the road but not as many as we went through. To give you an idea we were supposed to close in December (we signed in June of 2018) and well we had about 5 closing dates and finally closed the end of June 2019. The quality of the home is poor and the craftsmanship is a joke. No one cares. It all went down hill after I went to look at the house and see that at the door of my walkout basement sat a pile of broken Concreate. We I walked in the plumbers were there jack hammering all the areas of the floor where any plumbing was. Apparently it didn’t pass inspection but Pulte poured the floor anyways. When I called anyone and everyone not a soul knew what was going on. It took The GM of sales a couple of hours to try and figure it out. He did and he had to tell us what happened. The bottoms of all my doors in the house are damaged and I was told “it’s the bottom of the door”, basically just deal with it. My hardwood floors all had specs of paint and drywall dust within the cracks that I had to clean off because the cleaners are a joke. We were told no water on your floors and no chemicals and I walked into my house prior to closing and it looked like the cleaners dumped water on it and they used chemicals on it. When I told someone the response was “they didn’t use chemicals”...I seen what they put in the bucket. I have a 7 ft retaining wall that wasn’t in my contract because no one listened to us when we told them “hey, you don’t have enough dirt it’s going to drop”. They poured the driveway and oh gee we were right. Anytime we had shown them anything as simple as adding more caulk around the windows we got “it’s Pulte standard” and wouldn’t go above and beyond to please us. We are moved in and now dealing with the property pins. Our back yard is t a perfect square in the way that they graded it and put sod down, it’s pie shaped. When we told Pulte’s field manager the response was “ it’s close enough”. Close enough to me is ok if it within a couple of feet but not when it’s about 30-40 feet. Here’s the kicker, when we signed I was told by every person including the General Sales manager that for every 3 homes that are sold the base price of the homes will go up $1,000. It did once and just after we closed the base price of all homes dropped $25,000! So, would I ever recommend them?? Probably not. ... More

I just want to start out by saying I was excited about my new home when I first started this process. I am very disappointed and traumatized by your company. First, problem was with your lender and I feel I was treated unfairly and scrutinized but the bigger issue was after I closed. The Pulte representative I worked with forgot to offer me a patio in the initial stages. During the final walk thru, due to concerns from my lender about the drop off at the back of the house Pulte would put a patio in after closing. I closed May 22, 2020. The closing was amended with the patio to be installed by June 6. On May 30, the Pulte rep contacted me and my realtor to let us know the patio would be installed that week. My realtor asked her if I needed to be home to let them in. The Pulte rep stated “no”. I had not been staying at the home because the stores were not able to deliver my furniture. I came to the home June 6 and discovered my home had been broken into. The door from the kitchen to the garage was busted open and the frame was pulled from the drywall. The patio had been installed the patio and there were mud tracks only from the patio door to the damage garage. I called the Pulte rep to tell her the concrete company did this. She was adamant they had not done it and stated they did not come into my home at all. I investigated more and theare were concrete splatters on my floors inside my home and all on the back of my house. I made a police report. The Pulte rep never sent anyone to check it out and went on vacation. Long story short, Pulte rep admitted (in writing) that the concrete people hired by Pulte broke into my home. The Pulte rep stated that the 2 workers that broke into my home had gotten fines for not wearing hard hats and were mad about it. So they took it out on my home and broke in my house. The Pulte rep. stated that it would get fixed by her or the concrete company. It is July 21, 2020, almost two months later and it is still not fixed. This is very distressing because I am unable to secure my door. It has caused a great deal of distress and anxiety for me and my child. Also I was told that the men that did it were fired. This is not true one of the men that broke into my home is still out here working. I know he did it because when I investigated with my neighbor’s I have someone who identified him going under my garage and I also asked this individual a few days after this incident and he reported him and his crew did the patio for my home. So I know who did it and he continues to work out here with out any consequences. I have attempted to contact the supervisor for my Pulte rep or the division manager. I called the customer care line and left messages, no one has called me back. This is a serious matter and if this how Pulte handles issues I can not or will not recommend you to anyone and due to the fact of that no one has been responding to me maybe you will respond when legal action is taken. ...
