Overall, the home is great! The design studio was amazing and staff super friendly. Kerry was very helpful at answering our questions and making sure our home had the specific upgrades we wanted. However, we closed on the home from across the US and there were still many things wrong when we moved in. There were many issues flagged during the walk through that were supposed to be fixed, but were not. We are trying to put in warranty calls, but no one answers and the automated system doesn't allow for voicemails. Stepping on nails/carpet tacs in each doorway, severely cracked granite countertop, and a giant spot on the outside of the home that needs painted... no answers! I love my home, HATE my back yard. It is the worse job of laying sod I have ever seen. The sod was half dead when it was layed and already infested with dollar week. The grading seems to be off b/c every time it rains more soil washes out from under the sod causing ruts to form that you can't see but you can practically twist an ankel in if not careful. ... More

It seems everything is to be blamed on Covid. But the simple fact is that they like all the builders want to be at the top, and they really could care less about what we want. The sales team was really nice and very knowledgeable with regards to their product. then we got to to work with their mortgage company who was spot on very helpful. Then it came to the building of the home. At one time we thought that the builder offered a good quality product. Our overall experience and confidence of this builder is really quite low not what we initially thought.. They continue to push back on 4 major issues we have in our NEW home (ie….cannot get materials, repairs to damaged countertop and more) I compare it to when buying a NEW car…there are 4 wheels and tires on a car and one wheel is damaged and too small, they fix it, but Pulte seems to think to think that the damage to the material has been repaired and try to tell me that it is with-in code. They have have such poor management of their homes and their trades as they have no one to oversee the work…again its not our fault that they have over committed and under delivered. What you see in the models (wrong cabinets for instance) is not what you are getting…no pride no workmanship. Really sad! ... More

Some issues. Several times we were given financial numbers that were not accurate. Estimated monthly Mortgage numbers were misrepresented (low balled) and our $160 HOA fees became $190 in less than a monthl (with no notification). It has been almost a month and several of our issues with the house’s construction still remain outstanding. Proffered repair timelines have not been met and we are still uncertain as to operating policies that govern the community. Almost get the sense that Pulte is rushing to sell their few remaining houses and become move on. Out house is beautiful and the community offers a nice environment however we are experiencing some regrets with respect to our home buying experience. Sloppy workmanship. No attention paid to details. Paint slopped on tile floors. Electrical problems. Plumbing problems. Left us with a back yard that is so steep you can’t walk safely and probably no option for us to have a normal fenced back yard.

Rushed to settlement and pressured to accept inferior/incomplete construction. Repeated requests for service are often minimized and ignored by shifting responsibility.

They have good intentions but are seemingly inept at providing good service after the sale due to cut rate vendors and poorly trained personnel. Too much sloppy workmanship. They utilize your home after it's sold as a model/sample for other prospective home buyers. Lack of attention to details in the build process.

If I had not stopped at the construction site every week, many things would not have been fixed until it was too late. Plumbing in the wrong place. Air conditioner pad in the wrong place. Electrical disconnect and service outlet for A/C in the wrong place. Contractors smoking in the house. Shower stall glass in master bathroom not caulked. There are a lot of little quality issues. I felt rushed through and not truly given a punch/quality walk through. There is no consistency in the quality of workmanship in the contractors that are hired in each of the homes built.

The experience with Pulte Homes was horrible. We’ve had numerous issues and many have taken a long time to fix and some will probably never get fixed. The attention to detail when doing the finishing was not done at all. Painting and caulking are just to name a few.
