The individuals who work for Pulte are great and do their best to correct the poor quality of work done by the subcontractors they hire. We've been in our new house 60 days and we're still waiting on issues to be resolved. Very disappointed in the quality of work by their subcontractors. I would not buy another Pulte home. ... More

Looked good at first, but it is obvious a lot of shortcuts were taken in the building process.

I need things repaired. My shower door is literally, falling off and is cracked. It’s been two months and no one has even scheduled. There are other issues too but this is an emergency and the builder doesn’t seem to care.

Need better training and supervision of the sub contractors

All of the Pulte folks tried their best. And actually the sub contractors were friendly and responsive, and fun to talk to. The trouble is when they finished their respective job there was little or no responsibility placed on them to leave the job completed in a workmanship like manner which includes leaving the job site clean and hazard free. I thought that there was little or no accountability placed on the sub contractors unless I complained. Then, perhaps, my concerns would be heard. I would be afraid to not do my own supervision. ... Our salesman Eric was great. They can never give us an accurate estimate of when the home would be completed talk to three different people I got three different estimates of completion then after longer than expected they call us and tell us it would be completed in 30 days, not giving us much time to prepare to move. After moving in our dishwasher did not work it took them almost a month to get out here to fix it and they are very slow to respond to any other issue we have been here almost 2 months and still have many unresolved issues. When I do talk to somebody they tell me they’ll take care of it right away then I never hear from them again until I call them again and they keep telling me they’ll take care of it and they still have not after almost 2 months. ... I feel this House was rushed to be built and closed on for financial gains. Numerous craftmanship and material issues, most that were addressed at walk through, have not been resolved. It is now two months past closing and we're still waiting for simple things to be repaired and or replaced. This was my first time purchasing a new home, and it has been far from a pleasant experience for me or my family. ... More

sales office was great in dealing with them. The problem is with the closing crew and not following up on customer request or even returning phone calls, text messages, etc. If pulte values their customers they should hire more people to handle the job requirements or hire personnel that do not ignore your phone calls. ... We have been in the house for over a month now. We had a list of issues from our walk through that weren’t fix before we moved in and additional issues we have found since moving in. There were covers left off of electrical outlets, broken freezer shelf, leaking shower in the master, and vent hood in the kitchen that was installed wrong. These are big issues , not just paint touch ups and we still have had no word on when any of it will be fixed. It appears your goal is to wait long enough for people to forget about things or end up doing the repairs themselves. It’s very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend pulte to anyone. ... More

Pulte offered an amazing home design that was extremely functional for our family. Throughout the process we were told how Pulte goes above and beyond industry standards to ensure a high quality home is delivered. However, that was not the case. The building process with Pulte was awful. While our Field Manager was great, the quality of workmanship across was sub-par. We moved into our home with a long list of repairs still outstanding. As we move forward after the 1 month follow up, we find ourselves finding more things that need to reworked then before. Pulte is more set on getting these homes off their books then an delivering quality homes to their customers. I was apprehensive to build with Pulte to begin with, and I can say I will never consider building with them again. ... More

Jon the builder told us if we have any issues to call him directly. Everytime we get a survey we miraculously hear from him. We had a variety of issues the first 3 days and not only did he not return our phone calls but he referred us to the customer service line and they told us he needs to fix the plumbing and contact him. My wife is 7 months pregnant and imagine our surprise when we couldn't shower or use the bathroom because the plumbing wasn't working and there wasn't any hot water. He had explicitly told us to contact him directly and we were ignored. We had previously purchased a brand new KB home and never had any of these issues for the 3 years we lived there. Makes us think not only was this house not built correctly, but it also wasn't inspected properly. We keep hearing the covid-19 excuse but what does that have to do with a properly built home. I would never ever recommend Pulte to anyone. ... More

We always had to initiate communication to find out what was going on. Our house took 2 months longer than expected, but at no point we’re we reached out to to be made aware of this extension our original estimate just came and went. When we did our celebration and pointed out items that needed fixed Steven said he would be “living at our house the next couple of days to get things done.” I’m sure he didn’t do that as many of the items were not completed. We had to close with items not installed and had to wait several days for them to be installed. Then they weren’t installed correctly. ... More

After moving in we noticed the Drywall texturing on our home was extremely bad. You can see lines, holes, defects, and areas that was not finished or sanded, etc. To date, workers have spent 5 days of re-texturing and sanding. And now, 3 days so far, of painting our home and probably another 2 ti 3 days to finish painting Then, they need to send cleaning crew to clean as well as cleaning the air ducts due to ALL the dust that have accumulated. Pulte's Quality control should have caught this issues prior to move. ... More
