We have had to file 7 claims to care in 3 months. Lennar refuses to do anything above the minimum to fix. Not something we ever anticipated with a brand new home. Continue to set high expectations and fail to deliver on them.

If you are going to purchase a Lennar home be sure you can be onsite everyday looking at the construction being done. The workmanship was not good on our house and we will be putting in rework tickets the entire year during our warranty period. We purchased our house from Lennar about 5 months ago. We identified a lot of issues before the closing date. The builder was not able to fix all of them before the closing date. I signed a document to accept the house and did leave a note in the document that there were things in the punch list that were not completed before the closing date. They told us they were going to fix them after the closing date. For example, there were squeaks throughout the stair landing areas. It took them almost a month to send someone to my house. The contractor replaced several wood planks; however, they left the house without installing the trims, which I left a note in the work order. After 2 months, another contractor came to fix new squeaks identified during the "60-day" punch list and installed the trims in the stair landing areas without painting them. The quality of the wood planks installed in is horrible. You can see different colors and the floor is not leveled. Actually, the "NEW" stair landing areas look older than my previous 20-year old house. I would upload a picture if I can. Additionally, there were squeaks throughout the house. We were so angry to find out that the sub floor on the second floor hallway was not nailed and in fact there was not a single nail in some sub floors. To give you another example, after moving in the house, we noticed that the kitchen sink cabinet was flooded with water and we found that the sink were left unsealed at all. There are so many examples that I can list on and on (e.g., a leaking pipe for the sprinkle system, squeaks under bathroom tiles, giving us a dead tree, water erosion in the back yard etc.).The customer services were horrible as well. The first warranty manager left the company right after we purchased the house. There was no one assigned to us. So nobody came to house to record the 30 day punch list (hence the 60-day punch list before)and all our emails to the warranty manger were not answered. The second warranty manager was responsive hence the two-star rating for responsiveness. Looking back, I am deeply unsatisfied by the builder. They have very nice sales people but the quality of the house is so bad that I would not recommend the builder to my family and people I know. ... More

The construction team is a joke! They do not care about any of your concerns throughout the entire building process. It is only a matter of time before the economy catches up with the condescending attitude of everyone in upper management with Lennar. We pointed out basic failures in construction standards from warped boards in framing through unacceptable drywall finishes all the way to the day of closing. Construction spent more time redoing work than they did with the initial supervision. Job sites were trashed and disregarded by superintendents, every corner that could be cut was cut, and every concern was dismissed when brought to the attention of anyone in customer service. Everyone has been helpful however the grout in EVERY room is crumbling away and needs to be redone with a better product which is not covered on the warranty. I’ve reported issues prior to moving in that still haven’t been fixed! They keep changing workers that don’t know the previous reported issues! They used recycled wood to rebuild the house which ive asked to be replaced now three times. The cement has a huge bulge in the backyard and they spray painted the ground around the whole house and stained the cement! Paint wasn’t done and they say i have to use my one time touch up to fix it even though it was never done in the first place as well as the grout in the master bathroom. Back slider door doesnt close properly, trim around the whole house not flush with the ground, furnace room door slams when it turns on, besroom door all bowed and asked to be replaced.ive reported all these items since day one with Wade. He promised to fix all these items 4 months ago. Terrible at following up with issues; way too many problems with house due to poor work by contractors and lack of attention to detail. This is the first home I have owned and I did a lot of research before purchasing from Lennar. I am so disappointed. They rushed to have everything done so they could have us in the house by the end of their quarter. I am reminded daily of their sloppy workmanship and how they cut corners to be done on time. Terrible experience and I deeply regret my purchase. Just one example—we have had a roof leak since January and as of today, 6/26/19, the issue has still not been fixed. While I love the neighborhood specifically it’s proximity to Jet Blue Park( home of the Boston Red Sox spring training) the quality of work and materials used is extremely poor and defective and has not been corrected!

Lennar is very slow to fix issues after your home has been sold. Nearly 6 months after closing we are still waiting for issues from the punch list to be fixed. Also, it seems that fixes require multiple visits because the people they are sending for repairs are not competent. The latest news from them is that their warranty department is closed for repairs, even outside ones. Grading on lot buried construction debris such as nails, wood & metal scrap, etc. No warning when tradesmen would show up AFTER move in Surprise! As investors, we have bought real estate for a long time. Dealing with Lennar was a complete nightmare. The sales representative was always confused about the facts and would provide misinformation. Unfortunately, due to her incorrect information, we made many choices that we would not have made otherwise. The construction crew/managers were great. However, the administrators refused to be held accountable for the NUMEROUS mistakes that were made that lead to a delayed closing 4 times. As an investor, I lost renters and income.
