Build quality and attention to detail was lacking. Be certain to make sure your house is completely finished before closing as they will attempt to rush it off the books. Once closed everything has to go through warranty. Interior painting option of very low quality. Save yourself money and have someone do it right the first time. Builders rush instead of ensuring quality products. The level of professionalism is below standard. Communication between all parties in the process is poor. For a first time buyer I was so excited on buying my first house and spend time with family and friends. But now that the time passes by I get to notice a lot of stuff that isn’t right and that the contractors and builders let it slide under the rug so they could sell, sell and sell ,not focusing on quality and safety of the people that it’s planning to stay in the new house for the rest of their lives. Per example crooked wall in the kitchen and door of living room swings by itself because of that. Roof trusses, 2x4’s cheap and a lot of pieces look like a dog chewed on them and they installed them like that anyway.(Are they supposed to be 2x6’s anyway ?!) I just really hope that my house is going to last and not a regular wind or something simple is going to take the roof down and crush us ..! After 3 attempts of telling Robert, about my back yard and my neighbor telling to him about water holding between our houses, no one hasn’t come by and see or say anything about putting dirt or a French drain . Lennar makes a lot of promises about clean up and touching up issues on your final walk-through but fails to deliver on 100% of them. Most of it is little stuff where if you dont mind doing construction cleanup and minor repairs are no big deal but still pretty disappointing that none of it was done by closing. You can try putting in requests after you move in but alot of it will just be marked completed and no one will ever come out. ... More

Promises made are not always promises kept. We still have stickers on the outside of our windows and construction debris in our yard. I have no plants growing in my flower beds and the palm trees are only alive because we are watering them. The sink materials are plastic. From what I was told they higher production workers. Thus meaning quality is not the product they deliver. I’ve had other contractors come in and laugh at the final product. I had plumbing not completed. Which resulted in water all in my basement when running my washer for the first time. A lot of small things they chose to walk away from that should have been fixed. I do not understand why Lennar wouldn’t do a walk through of the house, prior to our personal walk through. Every issue I pointed out I received an excuse for the issue. These are brand new homes and should not have issues with items such as carpet, slump stone walls, smoke detectors going off when the oven is over 400 degrees or you use the self cleaning options etc. Many neighbors are experiencing the same issues but they don't take the time to report it. It is annoying that the board between the bedroom and the bathrooms has a high metal piece as the divider and allows for people to stub their toes and even though the inspector stated that needed to be fixed the builder brushed it off and stated thats how lennar has us do it. Even though the title should be even with that piece. Also the doors are all to low to the ground so you can't even have rugs in your bathrooms.
