The materials and workmanship are of good quality. Very trustworthy and responsive to concerns on your new home. The solar is a great savings on electricity. Overall it's the best home buying experience.

Our experience was very satisfying. The only problem was with the suggested lender. They had us sending and resending info. Since I don’t have a fax, my charges at Office Max was $20-$30 each time. It became so frustrating that I ended up going with a different lender. A tip of mine would be definitely not go with the suggested lender. Lennar service and all is great. In my opinion the upgrades should be different. Why no money back when not using tiles or carpet. Why not more freedom for upgrades for kitchen. Material use is cheap. Why not full flooring and then place kitchen island. Etc etc. should be a possibility to get discounted on kitchen and pick own kitchen and store. All is made simple for builder. But maybe I am spoiled with how things get done in the Netherlands. ... More

House was poorly constructed until now I’m still having minor issues. For new home owners have a thorough inspection before and after you move in.

We were able to get all the upgrades that we wanted in our home but we were disappointed with the size of the lot and the “lot upgrade fee” we were told that we would be facing our neighbors backyard so it would be from back yard to backyard but when the house went up half of my yard is covered by their home, their windows look right in to our yard and upstairs we are almost face to face. A lot of the things on the inside were not put on right, the cupboards doors keep getting loose, the lights keep loosening from the ceiling, there are “settling cracks” on the wall. The paint they use for the homes is the cheapest paint. We are 6 months in and there are dark spots all over the wall from where people or things touch because the paint is cheap Matte paint. The stair rails are painted with cheap white paint and already having grease marks on them, my carpet is coming off the stairs. They only had a few options for model of what fit in to the lot, if you look at all the homes that have the “same model” no home is the same, there is no consistency. I had to ask for a balcony light that was suppose the be added before we moved in as well as garage lights. They did fix most of this and they do a walk through at 1 month, 6 month and a year so I’m planning to show them all of the effects. Other wise it’s a good home. Our dream home purchase was the worst purchase experience of our lives, thanks to Lennar's quite unimaginable levels of ineptitude. No commitment to quality whatsoever at any stage of construction. No apparent desire to stick to deadlines. I, the home owner, seemed to be in charge of quality control - if I didn't catch it no one did. No commitment from upper management to make things right. I pleaded for help so many times, and just failure after failure ensued. No one from management ever even called or reached out to apologize for the incompetence. That's what you get for an $850K home purchase. You get better service at your local Taco Bell quite honestly - at least the manager there will say we are sorry when they mess up. Lennar management really should really find a different line of work. Folks purchasing their dream home deserve better than total lack of commitment to quality, total ignorance of deadlines, total disrespect towards the buyer, and total lack of any management basics. So many issues. The entire process seemed rushed and unplanned. Not sure if this is how every new home buying experience is, but I would not purchase from Lennar again.

This company has no business building houses .
