Communication and response time is horrible for any warranty work needed. We were promised several things from first warranty guy then he was switched to different property and new guy has no idea about anything. The house is built fast and cheap. Workmanship is poor quality. Home advertises as "comes with everything", but it doesnt come with essential items you would expect from a home; such as coach lights, door bell, sliding door bug screen, drawers in any bathrooms and list goes on. Lennar also did not disclose very important information such as; we live next to landfield, and many more information would have made us not move here if we knew. I bought a lennar home in Las Vegas, NV and now in Riverview. The only benefits is all inclusive. Cleanliness, responsiveness to problems, and customer service are almost non existent.

Very basic cheap construction. Things that should be included are upgrades or not offered. Carelessness on several items in the home. No padding under carpet and can fell rocks where the carpet was laid down. Changes made during building of the home that buyer not made aware of. However I do like the community that I live in. ... I was initially pleased with watching our home being built from the ground up however as it came time to close on the property things started going Awry. We picked out a corner lot and was advised by the agent this would all be our land. As they lay the sod we began to notice they weren’t filling in the corner side of the home. As we did our first walk through blue taping things that would need to be completed before move in the house was covered with blue tape. When we came back to complete our final walk through we noticed hardly anything was completed. Our home was still covered in blue tape with we met with the head guy who apologized for the work not being done no excuse this happened to be our closing day. While going over the unfinished items I asked about the side of the home not being completed with sod it was then after paying an additional $2500 for a corner lot we were advised it didn’t belong to us and they couldn’t rezone the area. My neighbor owns the same amount of land that I do but $2500 less to not have a neighbor on side of them?? After informing them this was the reason we purchased the corner lot because we have a small child and would be throwing birthday parties and family gatherings. I was then told I could still use the property for those things. Needless to say about a month later they put all kind of landscaping making it impossible to use the land. Not to mention other things that were wrong with the home like cabinets, paint, uneven windows, first floor isn’t cool as second floor just to name a few. With a promise and handshake we were assured all things would be taken care of and we could close on the home with no worries. We did just that only to come back after hours and find out the work wasn’t completed. I will not purchase another Lennar home!!! ... More

The workmanship was poor at best, the sales staff and closing were a disaster, the follow up with repairs has been, let's just say a nightmare. Some things still are not fixed and if I had to guess are not going to get fixed unless I pay for someone to fix them. Everything included does not mean everything... but they fail to tell you what normal things are not included. Too many imperfections caused by fast and sloppy workmanship. The entire process is rushed from start to finish. Everywhere I look I find issues with finishing touches. We just moved in and we're already thinking about selling.

Although this should have been one of the most exciting times in our lives....it was ABSOLUTELY the worst. If you buy a Lennar home be prepared for whole bunch of promises on the front end (before you sign) and be prepared after you sign to fight with Lennar over EVERY single issue that you have. (The warranty) Also, they switch up the rules for what they promised in order to meet THEIR needs and not YOURS!!! No one wants to take responsibility and they like to pay pass the buck. I strongly recommend getting a home inspection before the drywall goes up... it might save a lot of mental stress on your end. Also, document EVERYTHING!! ……….. Lennar focuses on quantity rather than quality! I moved in my new home in September and have had nothing but issues! I would never recommend a Lennar home to anyone.

If you are going to purchase a Lennar home be sure you can be onsite everyday looking at the construction being done. The workmanship was not good on our house and we will be putting in rework tickets the entire year during our warranty period. You also need to do a thorough walk through before you accept the house and pack your patience for closing; just plan on a three hour ordeal. Good luck! ... More

I never take these surveys but always will for Lennar. Out experience has been atrociously poor. 1 star is not a low enough rating. Ridiculous amount of issues with house and horrible customer service.

From the day I bought this home it has been a disaster. On the day I bought the home they were an hour late at the title agency and didn’t even have a room for us to close in. Then we ending up closing on a fold out table with some random guy who farted in my husbands face. Then our mailbox key didn’t work for over two weeks and then they had to rekey the mailbox. When we called our sales guy he said this has been a issue with a lot of home buyers. Why weren’t we warned before we moved in? On top of that the quality of the home is mediocre. I have lumps in my carpet, my floor creaks, the paint rubs right off the walls, the tile in the master shower grout has come up all over, the shower door creeks. The list goes on, every time I contact my rep it takes days for a response and I honestly don’t think I will every buy a Lennar home again. I own two homes my other home was built in 1978 and I have never had an issue, I bought this new home and have had more issues that I can count. ... More

I have been dealing with an open issue at my new home since we closed on 10/21/2020. I have in writing that if the front and back yard does not grow correctly, Lennar will replace. I have a huge gap in my front door, I was told the part is on back order and they will get back to me soon. its been 6 months that we have lived with a gap that you can see daylight from, 6 months. they are unfilled holes in the front of the house above the garage, the front shingles were put on with very little workmanship! I was told the excess glue and shingle would me cut off/wiped away, that never happened and its been 6 months. I asked for something simpler like help with the sprinkler system my knowledge rep never cared enough to reply. I was promised a screen sliding door for the mishaps. that never came!
