Zero transparency during the build. Build was months behind. Closing was a disaster. Quality was very poor for the price Only saving grace for Lennar has been the warranty process, to which they have been very responsive.

Many times they seem to take advantage of the situation and it seemed they were doing their best to make me lose my money. I had a bad time in those moments.

Many things in finished after I moved in. I constantly had to address un finished issues in the home on numerous occasions. This was a very frustrated experience. However, my closing was very smooth.

Missing outside light at street

Throughout the entire process we had to keep contacting Lennar for updates. When contractors showed up at our house they rarely knew what to do. The quality of work was not great, paint dabs on the floor etc

Everybody working at lennar

Everybody working for lennar don't care about the customer. Every issue I had, I had no assistance to minimum assistance. For example: 6 months after buying the property my bath tub is still missing caulking. I contacted lennar, etc nobody came to fix it. The pavement in front of the house has steps from paint, nobody came to pressure wash that, and lots more. ... More

Poor Customer Care after Closing for Warranty Issues

Home not completed after closing, slow or non responsive warranty claim. Poor contractors doing substandard workmanship. Promised amenities and recreational areas not completed as promised by sales rep. Materials are OK but workmanship is horrible.

Overall, the house is beautiful! The followup on responding to issues and fixing those issues is really bad. My landscaping throughout the backyard has holes to where almost every piece of sod that was laid, is going to cause someone to sprain or break their ankle. We paid to have our hood in the kitchen vented to the outside. This was not completed and no one has come out to correct despite multiple attempts at contacting to find out when this work would be done. Ok now, but the process was miserable

We are in our new Lennar house, and like it, but it was months late with us in a hotel. Minimal communication ( none from actual construction personnel). Moved in finally with no certificate of occupancy, many items incomplete that took weeks to complete. The company does some things beautifully, but then cheapens it. For example , the bathroom tiling is gorgeous, then they put the cheapest lights and fixtures possible, mentioning that you change them you void your warranty. ... More

Went you recive your new key of your new home make 100 percent that everything are done because If you take the key and house it's not ready you lose. They don't want to do the repairs.

Lennar makes a lot of promises about clean up and touching up issues on your final walk-through but fails to deliver on 100% of them. Most of it is little stuff where if you dont mind doing construction cleanup and minor repairs are no big deal but still pretty disappointing that none of it was done by closing. You can try putting in requests after you move in but alot of it will just be marked completed and no one will ever come out. ... More

Not very well, I tried counting lennar about issues like finishing paint on the outside of the house, holes in drywall, and tile grout cracking and I have not heard a response and I’ve stopped trying to contact anyone

Lennar built a good home using great materials. The design and layout are great. But almost six months after closing my punch list remains incomplete. Very frustrating experience.

The lack of job site supervision and quality control was extremely evident. The quality of workmanship was extremely poor and not up to par for a brand new home.

Awful Overall Experience With Lennar

My husband and I had an awful experience with building and purchasing our home with Lennar. Our final home walk through appointment was cancelled one hour before we were to meet (after we had arranged to be off of work and had child care services lined up). The house at our final walk through was not finished (not cleaned with dead bugs everywhere, missing paint, holes in the walls/ceilings, all the blinds were missing, the seamless shower frame we paid for was not installed etc). We had to rush to close because Lennar forced us and we had to push Lennar for months to get everything fixed/corrected after we moved in. The house was so dirty I had to clean it myself before it would move anything in. We were so disappointed with Lennar that I would not recommend buying from them. ... More

Lots of rework and projects to be done by Lennar after move in.we had to each take so much time off of work well into two months to accommodate for things that should have been done. Window sills are crooked, doors had to be replaced, WiFi is slow, front door lock has to have new batteries every week or it will not work and you may come home and find your house unlocked, ring doorbell doesn’t work most of the time, and the list could go on. ... More

The Lennar finance team, specifically Bobby, was awful regarding communication and limited in giving info or helping us during the loan process. Despite my > 800 credit score, he could have done better with the interest rate. Yet I got stuck with a higher interest than the going rate in the market. I felt deceived. Regarding the building process, everything seemed to be “no”. Not flexible at all. The workmanship, 5 months later I’m still correcting things identified in the final walk through. Just last month I found out that one of the vents on the roof was not placed. It was missing. This cookie cutter mentality disregarding the customer disappointed me. I’ve built and owned, with this home, 3 Lennar homes. The first two, outstanding. That’s why I chose Lennar. But this one, a different story. Thank God for my insistence, we are finally getting there. Just waiting for my garage replacement, painting of re- Stucco of entrance wall and fixing with paint of some frames inside. If I had to select a builder for another home in the future, right at this time, it would not be Lennar. Would not recommend them to friends and family. ... More
