The Model homes show beautifully, however the quality of workmanship is lacking in the non model home. I know these are not custom homes, but materials and supervision need much improvement. They give you one year warranty. They string out getting the work done. Seems like you have workers back and forth for 6 months to most of the year. At some point you just want them out of your house. The open floor plan carries voices and noise throughout the home, especially noticeable in the bedrooms. Lack of hall space to buffer the sounds. Buying a home to Lennar you have to have a lot of patience, don't trust everything they say, specially time frames to fix things. Be extra cautious. And very detailed oriented at the time of closing as there will be a lot of things wrong or missing in the house. You'll have to take a lot of work time off to attend to all submitted warranty request. Also, pay close attention to the roof, rainy season just started in SW Florida and there are more than 5 recently built homes with tarps on their roof. Lennar is a big corp and they are there to make money without taking in consideration how big of a deal is for the middle class to own a home. ... More

Build quality and attention to detail was lacking. Be certain to make sure your house is completely finished before closing as they will attempt to rush it off the books. Once closed everything has to go through warranty. Interior painting option of very low quality. Save yourself money and have someone do it right the first time. They give you a credit to buy a gallon of paint but this will not match properly. I could go on but I’m sure other comments will address other issues. ... More

We were misled multiple times during the buying process and throughout building process. We didn’t get the product we thought we were getting. We were forced to close with a 2 page list of unfinished issues and now I’m not even getting any responses to my issues that were left unfinished. ... More

I really had higher expectations from Lennar but I feel it fell short on several fronts...not going to recommend to any one. ..I would probably advice to stay away from Lennar given the price of the house and poor material and workmanship...sad !!

1- ex. Paint pealing 2-a/c unit loud. Lennox & you say it’s normal 3- cabinets not finished yet! Closed in may! 4. Elec plate on side of house. Waiting for answer 5-over poor workmanship & work ethics mostly all trades.

I closed on my house in May of 2019, and I have had issues with the workmanship of the building. The punch list that was submitted isn't even half done and it is now November 21 2019. Be aware of the lack of urgency once you close.
