Phillip in sales was very knowledgeable and helpful. Manny our repair and inspection guy is outstanding I liked Gene at the mortgage company a lot. He makes sure that we know he is available and we always get good answers from him. Felt there was no pride in the craftsmanship and that the house was rushed for a completion date. To have things looked at or fixed, you have to call incessantly. Overall we have a very nice home but the process has been full of headaches and challenges. ... More

Issues are very slow to get addressed. Had a walk through 1 week before closing, was told all issues identified would be corrected before closing. We paid cash for our house at closing and were not able to move in for another month. After trying for two months to get items corrected I was told to submit the issues as warranty calls. After numerous cracks started appearing 3 months after we closed in the stucco. The house is only 6 months old now, Lennar says this is normal and I must repair. Funny not the first home I had, yet it has more cracks than my last home in California. A leak developed back in late August, it took over a month to identify where it came from, a crack in the stucco above window(was there no flashing). It then took another month get the initial repair with stucco patch and has still not been painted. One of the repair people that came, damaged the trim on the front of house and failed to notify me. I notified Lennar of this over 3 weeks ago, no one has showed up to repair. Warranty's are only good if the builder responds and resolves in a timely manner. ... More

There were many issues to be resolved, not all of which were completed to our satisfaction. The standard answer to our issues was “It meets code” even though we did not agree and could show it was different to plan. For new home buyers, make sure you watch every stage of the development and take someone who understands home construction with you on your walk through so that you pick up all the issues. ... More

I don't think Lennar is in sink with all of there offices. whey will call you for closing when the home is not ready. if you give then 10 week heads up that you will be on Military orders they don't care and still set you up to close that day even if the home is not done. I think the next time we start looking for a new home we will start by looking for a new builder. ... More

I’m still waiting for repairs to be completed from my closing over four months ago. In addition I’m in the middle of fighting tooth and nail to get someone out to repair a roof leak that has caused extensive water damage and now black mold which has rendered three rooms in my house unable to be used. My kids are crammed into other rooms now. I’ve documented everything and even called management multiple times with now follow up.
