I have never had a better home buying experience than with Lennar. From choosing a home to closing, Lennar always had out best interests in mind. They were never pushy or forceful to hurry up a choose a home or to go with Eagle Home Mortgage. Ricardo was only interested in making sure we bought a home that was right for our family. Our villa is in a beautiful new community, close to shopping, restaurants and other businesses. The layout of our home is perfect and the all-included amenities like state-of-the-art appliances and the wifi home services are wonderful. I love my new home. Lennar homes really care about the families that purchase their homes. They have been as little slow at fixing every that comes up ,but I know they will take care of everything in time. You have a 1 yr warranty.

Lennar homes are undoubtedly beautiful with first class materials. Unfortunately there is a markedly disconnect in the quality control and some workmanship. It is understandable that inevitably there will be some issues with a new home, but most of us in Dorado are in agreement that the issues we have been facing are not becoming of half million dollar homes. Many of our issues have come down to outright LACK of quality control. In one case the only thing that needed to be done to see the problem was to look up at the wall. I would not recommend the Lennar financing team. That is the only reason I would not rate Lennar 5 stars for Trustworthiness and Responsiveness to issues. Maybe some contractors had to much work and hurried this house. The drywall and paint work are not up to par.

The landscaping is not great. Our tree fell over twice and had to be replanted. Part of our property line has washed away because they didn’t put erosion barrier up and so a fifteen foot section of our sod has been washed under causing big holes in the back yard. As the saying goes, "first impression is the last impression". In this instance, I tend to disagree with my homebuying experience with Lennar. The first encounter with my agent was quite impressive. The questions I have fielded were answered with conviction. However, I have felt a sense of deception and distrust along the way and during the construction process. I had asked a few questions regarding the construction specifications, but those didn't materialize at the end. Bottom line, do your diligent research before you sign the contract. Ask current homeowners with their experiences, etc. The house I moved in have issues that have not been looked at or rectified as of this review. The insulation is very sub-par. It is uncomfortable during the day, having the AC set at recommended 78° and just runs all day long. The temperature in the garage is unbearable. I ended up insulating the attic myself. And to mention, found some empty beer cans up there. Perhaps, the construction folks needed some refreshment to stave off the heat. Makes me wonder if building inspectors are actually doing their job. My move-in was a month delayed. The closing process was a sigh of relief and went without a hitch. ... More

After five work orders and two telephone calls over a months time. i am still unable to use my kitchen sink, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. I had to cancel my house warming due to the lack of response from customer care and not being able to use my kitchen. Workmanship is bad. Very low quality checks. The website does not allow you to keep track of the issues/timeline that you submitted. They do it on purpose. You have to call everyday for 1-2 weeks to fix one issue.
