It would have been nice to be given a few more options. Like hurricane windows, solar panels, mirrored closet doors, vanity in Master bath, chrome vs. nickel finish in bathrooms/kitchen.

If you try to clean a spot on the wall, the paper thin paint comes right off. Base board in M-BR has cracked.

The local sales person helped in every way that she could. The middle management of the sales department sold our house out from under us with no warning even though we had sold our house, put $10,000 down and were 6 weeks before their closing date. Great people and service . quality good BUT. No follow up on my issues post moving in 1. External house paint peeling off . 2. Light fixtures fell out of ceiling in bathroom 3. Patio light broken 4. The sales representative has been great, responsive and helpful. The contractor materials were good but his QA/QC was poor. Too many punch list items and issues that are still not resolved. He continues to construct new houses and puts off punch list work 4 months after closing. I did not want to close with some of these issues outstanding but "the builder" insisted and had the upper hand based on the contract. Love our house and community. Some of the craftsmanship is not exactly worthy of 700K plus homes. Responsiveness to warranty issues has been very disappointing overall.

Buyer beware that the repair process after you own is not very good. Simple items take a while to correct. Often the customer care team communicates a repair date as a completed work, when actually nothing has been done and it may take several more weeks to resolve. My advice is get it all 100% prior to close and do a complete and through inspection to minimize issues. Very misleading sales experience. Average warranty follow up. Average workmanship on overall build. Warranty items are bound to happen, but some of it stems from poor workmanship in the start. Punch list not finished before closing, promises made never kept. Appliances were stolen and replaced with stored ones that were dented and not working properly, was told that it was a “Ge” issue. Had to go to BBB to get fridge that was not working replaced less then 90 days from closing. Had to go to headquarters to get any help With having house punch list finished. ... More

The responsiveness of the Lennar team post closing has been unacceptable. This was compounded by many issues of poor quality materials and poor workmanship.

Shortly after move in we discovered that our master shower had two shower heads installed too close together to be useful. Reported to customer care and they admitted it was a mistake but refused to move the misplaced shower head. Went up the chain with no success. Then our sales rep got involved, and eventually emailed us that Lennar would correct the mistake. On contacting him to find out when the work would be scheduled we were advised that Lennar had changed their minds and were again refusing to correct their mistake. No reason given, just a solid refusal. I asked Michelle Tucker (sales rep’s boss to come and take a look and explain why she was refusing repair, but never got any further communication. Worst experience we’ve ever had with any of the 10 new homes we have bought over the years from various builders. DO NOT TRUST LENNAR TO DO THE RIGHT THING!!! ... More
