AC designs have had to come out multiple times to repair AC unit. It's an inconvenience and still have to work with them. I wish the house was finished and tested everything before we moved in. We are still dealing with some issues with plumbing and missing fixtures. ... More

Some of the finish work is a bit sloppy, nothing major put details that really should be done better. Very long response times for some warranty issues that should be very simple to resolve.

The major parts of the home were built well. However, we have had so many electrical issues and issues with the paint. The responsiveness to get things fixed has been good, but only after I got the regional manager Ed involved. KB home needs to do a better job at doing things right the first time instead of doing things again. The roof has already had a leak due to the laziness of the roofing crew not putting on one of the vents which caused the lights in the master bedroom to short out. The paint job in some areas was mediocre at best. Also, the house was dirty once we moved in. KB home needs to reclean my home or reimburse me the cleaning fee and charge the cleaning crew for their lack of care. ... More

I got to say the quality of the materials are very good a solid foundation. The value for the home I think I paid a little to much it was a new plan and the layout didn't have that open layout I was looking for. I order a cabinet two months before closing and still haven't come in from the manufacture. We closed a six weeks ago and still have not received my kitchen cabinet and now seems to know when are if it's been order. I call the builder and the company it takes days are weeks for someone to respond back. end of the day, the house is 5 star quality build and I believe it will stand the test of time. ... More

John our sales guy is awesome! The issues we have faced is with the problems with simple things: with windows that aren't straight, knocking in the walls, cement that was broken never being fixed or scheduled to be fixed. We have been called, but the repair team is awful. Our specific guy has not communicated well, when we have told him issues he has said, "that's just the way it is." When he has scheduled things often times we were at work and we had told him we couldn't be there. When the crews came to fix the issues they have done a great job, unfortunately we still have at least three issues that haven't been fixed. ... More

Salesman: Started with Claudia ended with Jeff (great guy - I like Jeff) Loan Officer: Started with “forgot name” ended with Corey(I liked him) Project manager: Started with John, ended with Chris. (Not going to say anything bad but I don’t have anything good to say about either) Customer Service Rep: Started with Eric and now have Damon ( Damon is definitely helping with the issues) With all the switching, I felt like that was a red flag alone.... Honestly I haven’t been happy. This was my first purchased home and I’ve had quite a few issues. Yes, understand mistakes happen but does this company have a in house inspector or is it the “project managers” job to catch the workers mistakes... Just a few things I’ve dealt with in my “brand new home”..... Some of the bedroom doors don’t lock - need to tell Damon. Carpet issues - repaired! Fence detached - notified Damon Dented garage - replaced and painted. Damon is working on that.
