Build took 19 months instead of the 12 promised. No exceptions considered for customers who had to move to interim housing as a result. Closing delayed due to incredibly inferior workmanship. Incentive $ pulled out of deal the night before closing. Roof section is still missing both shingles and felt. John Wieland Homes - Our builder, Travis H.

Our builder, Travis H. was the absolute worst -- no attention to detail and any issues raised were NOT addressed. We escalated our concerns with upper management and delayed our closing only to find little to no work was done. And upper management didn't address the issue. We are now living through the remodel of our brand new home to fix the egregious issues which weren't addressed when they were building our home. Corey M., the 4th builder we have had since signing the contract, has been excellent in communication and in trying to address our concerns. Unfortunately, we are not the only home buyers having this same concerns/issues. The other 3 units in our townhome section and all 6 across the courtyard have all complained about the workmanship, the inexperienced builders building high priced townhomes and the delayed closings. Pulte/Wieland is clearly over their head in building high end townhomes and upper management at the Atlanta office, doesn't seem to care that about the workmanship, delays or how their new home owners feel about their experience or the company's reputation -- very short-sighted. ... No need to - they sent a survey to complete a while back - which was done - but not even a house rat has called me to discuss my concerns- the only reason we bought at Foundry is because of Location - NOT BUILDER ! That sentiment is shared with a good majority of the residents that i have personally spoken to - extremely shady and incompetent work - watch this , if a builder cant get basic painting done right what does that tell you ?? Just AWFUL!!!

This is our 8th homs purchase (5th new construction) and hands down it was the worst. Our experience consisted of broken commitments, poor responsiveness and build quality. I will not recommend this builder to anyone.
