Buying and build process was mostly seamless until there were issues. Our project manager rarely got back to us and when we were finally able to do a walk through, the things he promised to have done by closing, were never address. The warranty person we deal with promises to return email the next day and we don’t hear from him for days until we reach back out. Our house also has no insulation in the attic above over half of the house. We expected issues but the follow through has been terrible as best. Overall we like our new home. One huge problem we have experienced is a horrible interior paint job, window frames around permanent windows look horrible, our outdoor A/C unit has a very loud vibration noise and glue/caulk is all over the floor tiles. I was hoping to get the same quality I saw on the model home. It is difficult to see every detail on a short period of time. Once I moved I realized that all openings are cut in diagonal. Even the main door has a triangle on the wall. Sliding doors are not aligned, pocket door in the bathroom detached in the middle of the night within 17 days after moved. The quality control on the construction is terrible. I have never seen a construction like this. Appliances had to be leveled. The appliances cannot be any cheaper. Sales person and person from Castle Management have been rude and nasty, which has made this an unpleasant experience.

60 days later And my list of issues still not taken care of. I want appointments for any workers coming to my home. I think 60 days after closing my list of shoddy workmanship should be completed but it’s not! I’m weighing my many options... Left to fix on lot 402 01-13-20 Scratches inside bathroom sink by office (very lite) Kitchen cabinet left next to refrigerator replacement A/C per Nick notes on install Relocate Flood Lighting on SE corner by master bedroom Cabinet/vanity trim in master bath not same color as rest of vanity. Poor customer service in all regards. It seems that now that the real estate market is doing very well, people just don't care. Frankly, it's ridiculous. Poor response to minor issues. When a home is 'built' in only four months, there is little time for attention to details. Receiving service after move-in has been slow and the 'customer service' representative hasn't been responsive.

With Pulte/DiVosta you definitely do not get what you pay for. House is hot with AC at 71. Seams of drywall visible, but told the are “within tolerance”. The house was filthy and clearly was thrown together by unskilled laborers. This was particularly true with the tile work and grouting. Multiple chipped tiles were installed on the bathroom walls, floor tiles were laid unevenly, grouting is lumpy, inconsistent and varied in color. Managers admitted to us that no supervisor was on-site to oversee the grouting, and agreed that the poor quality grout job encompassed the entire house. When a crew was sent in to address the problems with the tile, they did not protect the tub so it is now scratched and gouged. After efforts to improve the grout, there was little to no improvement in the quality workmanship. The garage door has a large gap which allows bugs and other creatures to enter the garage. The front door does not create a seal allowing light to come in on the bottom corner. The garage entry door is misaligned preventing the lock to engage. The ceiling in the master bathroom bows upward. The sill under the lanai sliders looks as if chunks of cement are missing. The day of closing was to be a day of celebration in our new home. To show up for closing to find workers still working and painting. Everything was rushed for closing day and the quality of finish work was extremely poor. After three days of waiting for workers to finish fixing list of items no one would come or answer my calls to find out what going and why our place is not finished. Floor not cleaned, a lot of paint drops on floors from sloppy painting. Quality of painting very poor and sloppy and a lot of spots missed. Many areas on walls and trim work had damage that was just painted over and not fixed. Paid for up graded carpet and padding and the padding was not upgraded feels like walking on cement and very bumpy. We love the community and everything else. Its just your day of closing should be a day of celebration, and to be rushed to close and find many thing not finished and very poor quality finish work ruined our day of celebration. My home building has been a disaster. We had a walk thru and there were several items to be addressed. At the closing projects were supposed to be completed but were not. There was paint. Caulk and grout on the floors. We spent 3 full days scraping paint off the floors and still find it. Doors were not hung properly, pavers were covered with paint. 200 had to be replaced. We are still waiting for a roof problem. The bathtub was scratched. The front door did not line up properly. Our initial representative didn’t return calls. After the closing the new representative did not return calls or messages. To this date we have not heard from him. We have called the office and two women resolved a lot of the problems. When you buy a new house you expect that there will be some small issues. You don’t expect that the lights will fall out if the ceiling the doors won’t close the roof is leaking and nobody seems interested in fixing it. The fact that the daily rain is running through the electrical fittings in the bathroom and tripping out all of the electricity doesn’t seem to be a concern that needs to be addressed in addition to the fact that the ceiling will collapse if this goes on much longer. We have had nothing but issues and things cannot be fixed propery the first or even the second time around. For instance, They scratched the word "Clean Me" in our kitchen hood. They finally come to replace it and make a mess of my kitchen to find out they did not have the correct hood to be replaced. Our cooktop was also extremely scratched. The tile/grout work throughout the home is terrible The pavers keep sinking workers cause more damage to home before fixing it takes 2-3 trips for 1 thing to be corrected cabinets have now been ordered 3x we were told that we can fix it, but it will be a pain, so we added caulking instead. Not only did we pay extra for, and not receive event for our stove that now is a major problem to fix that will cause all kinds of issues in the kitchen, but our bathroom is pitched in the wrong direction. Someone from Divosta came out to check it and make sure that all was well, only to find out that the entire floor needs to be completely removed and repaired. This will take days. The roof was leaking the porch was missing the footer to attach the screen to so they had to tear it all down. Very disappointed in the craftsmanship. Hire subpar help you get a subpar home.
