Overall positive. Sales staff excellent. Regina was great, she also assisted us with our first purchase. Once Walk thru was completed there was a lag dealing with the customer service group. Not as helpful with getting problems resolved.

The sales agent and building supervisor were fantastic. Pulte cuts corners on quality and the landscaping they put in is poor for $500,000 + home. Their communities are very nice but KEEP an eye on your home while it is being built.

We were excited and eager to move into our new home at IslandWalk. However our disappointment started with a call from Pulte Mortgage indicating that that they needed a last minute form to close, with less than a week before our scheduled close. “We’re really busy right now,” was the explanation. Finally get keys to our dream home, and immediately notice the lack of attention to details: the final cleaning was terrible - dust and grout on tile floors, paint in carpet. Appliance handles were assembled without removing plastic - now we have scraps that we have to try to remove. CAT 6 outlets not labeled, garage door opener poorly wired. Tile floor is uneven - poorly done. Overall - meh. ... More

Overall the experience with DiVosta was a good one. The house looks great and we are very happy with it. There was a relatively significant issue with the lanai that was due to a complete lack of communication by DiVosta. It was resolved but DiVosta would not take responsibility for their actions at first. Eventually we settled on splitting the cost of the remediation. Otherwise, a very good experience. ... More

This is the 6th new property for us. The most expensive, but not the best by far. The general design is only average. The guest bath and closet are really small, but they're needed because there really isn't room for two in the master bath and closet. There was only a single towel bar, so perhaps it's a home for one person. The shower has no comfort features. Curb appeal outweighs the actual product. It might be better not to ask for this feedback. ... More

First, I love my new home with just a couple of reservations. I'm a foody and love to cook but it is impossible to use the broiler without setting off the fire alarm. Why? Because my home, the Cascadia model, doesn't have a kitchen exhaust fan. Even with opening all of the windows, it is impossible to cook a steak without setting off the fire alarm. Second, DiVosta claims to be an energy efficient builder. The amount of water I waste getting hot water to the kitchen and the master bedroom is obscene. The water heater is in the garage and the water "pipes" are not insulated and run through the concrete slab. I prefer to wash my hands with hot water which takes about 2 minutes to deliver to the kitchen. After you get the hot water, if you wait 10 or 15 seconds and want hot water again you need to start the whole process over again. Again, I love the home in general but feel these issues will probably have me selling my new home in the very near future. ... More

Initial contact about problems was good. However, followup was generally poor. I am surprised about the superficial finishing and workmanship, Looks good but takes several weeks to find problems.

Nicely built home in a great location. Our field manager has been very helpful. However, from the business end, DiVosta was very unpleasant to deal with. They refused to give us even one additional day to close on our home without charging extra, even though my wife had to work & we live far away. Our real estate broker who has been doing business in the area for 30 years, said that she had never encountered a firm less willing to accommodate their clients in all her experience & that she will never do business with them ever again. ... We live in NJ, visited and bought a 'spec' home at IslandWalk in West Village in mid-March. We'll be snowbirds.Due to COVID and Divosta contract, we were forced to close remotely without actually being able to see our completed home. We're told it came out nicely, but we've not yet seen it except in pictures and video provided by our real estate person.. We're hoping to visit in mid-September-COVID permitting. ... More

Poor communication with process of build, closing was several hours and keys were lost along with gate access passes. Work is sloppy. Inside baseboards are primed but not painted, bathroom shower knobs mismatched and shower not working. AC not working, paint is sloppy and not flat. Kitchen electrical is not working right. Very bad smell in house and your workers stated there is something dead and rotting in the walls. Ac not working. Worked with several project managers that were all not familiar with the work or the process. ... More

Have a list off about 20+ items to fix. Finally after living here 3 weeks, multiple contractors Stopped by to fix some items on my list. 5 done, 15 or more to go. Frustrating since Nobody contacted me to review the list of items before common out. So a few left and told me to submit a new ticket. So now I have to start again and probably Wait a few more weeks.. a 3 x 2 inch hole in the wall next to my tankless water heater Is a major concern , with all the rain, water is getting into the open hole in the exterior wall, Who knows when it will be fixed. Light fixtures hanging off the wall, terrible drywall finish that looks Like a child did or, looks and feel cheap. The quality is not what I expected. ... More

Very poor job installing drywall, tile and wood trim. Foundation not flat. Cabinets came in beat up. Told up front they use wood 2X4 studs - not true unless you have a 2nd floor - they use metal - I would not have bought if I'd know that. 2 stars on trustworthiness because of that. I love my house, but DiVosta clearly doesn’t want to fix anything that is wrong, and the finishing contractors were somewhat sloppy. For instance, I had no hot water for two days when I moved in, and only an emergency call brought the plumber, who said the hot water heater was never set up. He shook his head in amazement, and it took a third day for the hot water to kick in. I’m still waiting for the crown molding to be installed in the guest bedrooms—molding that I paid for but never got. How did this place ever pass inspection? You have to wonder. ... More

Buying and build process was mostly seamless until there were issues. Our project manager rarely got back to us and when we were finally able to do a walk through, the things he promised to have done by closing, were never address. The warranty person we deal with promises to return email the next day and we don’t hear from him for days until we reach back out. Our house also has no insulation in the attic above over half of the house. We expected issues but the follow through has been terrible as best. I’m sure things will get done but I wouldn’t hold my breath. ... More
