I hate to be negative, but their some disappointing issues. Our toilet leaked after a couple of days, dishwasher hasn't worked for two months, takes hot water 3-5 minutes to get to the kitchen sink. Our front porch looks like it has been there for 20 years, there spots and stains everywhere and a footprint where someone stepped on the concrete before it was set. Everything was an upgrade in this house, which gets to be very expensive to have nice things, some of which we are still not happy with. ... More

Quality is an issue for me. We have had major issues with the Whirlpool appliances, HVAC system, foundation crack, electrical problems and that is after two months of occupancy. The Whirlpool appliance required a new control board. The HVAC system electronic air cleaner was assembled wrong and requires a new transformer. The foundation crack was the least of the problem as the team here responded quickly to repair the cracked foundation and stop the resultant leaks. The electrical problem came from our power line being damaged (cause unknown) outside of the home. For what I spent buying this home I would not expect to have make a number of calls to get things fixed or repaired in a new home. Some of this is communication. I may call to check up on an issue and find someone is coming out but I didn't know it since I didn't need to be there. I get shuffled person to person on follow-up. Finish work is substandard. Materials are also poor quality, examples are the light bulbs that failed on day 1.

Building materials are the bare minimum quality.. I was told that the only thing they cared was going to be that the house was going to be built under "Code" expectations. After settlement do not expect help with problems.

There is a form that they have you sign saying the home is perfect before settlement. When you move in you see problems and there is no interest in dealing with them. The basement had mud and dirt and on the floor and it took repeated efforts to get them to do anything about it. The basement wall is leaking water and there has been no response in the 3 weeks after being told about it. There was a lack of oversight of the subcontractors and sub par workmanship considering the price paid for the house. The 1 tree is dead and some of the bushes are near dead in the 7 weeks since settlement and the forms you sign say it is your problem. Most nurseries say plants should live for a year or be replaced at no cost. We were told break branches and look for anything green to determine if it is living. One company person said, " I thought the inspector would fail us." when I pointed out a problem but he chose to not fix it and gave me suggestions how I could fix it. ... More

Production build - no more

I was told from day one that this was a production build and that Pulte would not make accommodations for individual buyers. That was absolutely the case, without exception. I have never worked with such an unyielding builder. The quality of the workmanship is subpar and the field manager was unwilling to fix the problems.
