The initial drive into Stone Creek as well as the models and the staff all A+. The finished product comes in at a C for the following reasons. Attention to detail is lacking both inside and out. For example, on the interior we needed to sand and re-paint some window sills and caulk base board joints and crown molding shortly after moving in. Had issues with shutters because the windows are not even. On the exterior. By far the outside is our biggest disappointment for the following reasons. Ground is so uneven our new $600.00 lawn mower is taking a beating after just 2 uses. A very nice representative from Del Webb told us that they would have the lawn rolled in an effort to help with the unevenness. Because there are no trees, shrubs or foliage to somewhat block the the 8 homes in our direct view from our gathering room, dining room and lanai it is truly our biggest disappointment. The property is a nice size but it feels like a baron land when I open the shutters. ... More

Although our home ended up as we hoped it would. Plute is hard to deal with. Salesperson was great, project manager was great, however with the amount of builds that are taking place every owner should hire a private home inspector throughout the build. They don’t quality check on every turn of the build and they don’t have the staff to do it with. You are the quality check and rest assure unless you were in the business of home building hire an expert for your interests on quality checks. So far as we have moved in I have found their phone numbers to call not effective at all. You have to hope your project manager or salesperson will have your back and resolve issues. Biggest problem for future home buyers are quality of the build not quality of their staff or materials they just need more help. ... More

I told salesman I would plant plants in my yard. He said no problem. He said for outside house construction issues I would have to submit request to HOA. I did not know planting a single plant would require an HOA approval at the cost of $25!! had I known, I would NEVER have bought here!! ... More

The drain located at the back of the house is always clogged after raining, and water is always puddling. We advised HOA again and were told that it is a Pulte construction issue. We just want the issue resolved.

Was not able to attend pre-closing walk through but was able to be there for 3 days the week following closing. While there I found no power in half the kitchen receptacles{which has been fixed} and no power in both baths{which hasn't}. I spent 2 hours cleaning paint splatter off floor so grout could be sealed which had to be done after closing. This makes no sense whatsoever. There is a gouge in the drywall, front door weatherstripping problem, sprinkler head by front door problem, something was dropped on the kitchen sink leaving a mark and the concrete apron in front of the garage looks like a 10 year old did. Not even at the home yet so no telling what else needs attention but based on my first 3 days I'm sure it will be something. I will say if I had to do this all over I would have serious reservations. ... More

Mostly ok. There are not enough project managers or support team staff to provide the courtesy of a response. Escalating matters to the sales team is a waste of time. Be aware of back ordered and out of stock items.

I filled this out previously and you have the response. I do not type and do not like the inconvenience of having to reconstruct a response. I cannot get questions answered by the subs Del Webb lists, with their phone #'s. Furthermore after questioning the quality of a two level upgrade on the granite(the granite had an obvious flaw) we were called by a supervisor. I was not made aware that his boss was also in on the call. This secretive action and the subs referring all inquiries back to Del Webb, and our construction supervisor, Jacob's supervisor, withheld information from me prior to our closing. We are disappointed in trash hidden under the sod that left on a pallet far too long the sod was not watered appropriately after being poorly laid the yard was poorly graded prior to landscaping and sod placement the refrigerator is not built-in as up charged the carpet pad is supposed to be an upgrade the electrical wiring (three way switches) is inadequate. I think this shortcoming is intentional. forcing the homeowners to upgrade to a smart house. the "on the hinge" door stops are worthless having only one of each rooms electrical outlets operated by a wall switch, inadequate exterior color combinations selection too overly limited gutters and down spouts are focal points detracting from the handsome home-front and back ... We have had nothing but problems since moving in. You can see daylight through the garage door and that is an "acceptable" margin of error. This attitude is totally unacceptable! The garage doors are just cheap pieces of metal! The child safety mechanism can easily be put out of alignment. We had 3 defective toilets. Totally not level. They have been replaced. The master bath twice and bath 3 had to have the drain collar replace because it was cracked when the replacement was installed. We were without a toilet in the master bedroom for a whole month. The tile in the master bedroom had to be removed replaced in order to level the floor. The back corner was so out of level. The Slider could not be locked. That took 2 trips to get addressed. A handle on the kitchen cabinet was off. That door had to be replaced and 12 if the cabinet doors had to be adjusted The shutters in the master bedroom were off and had to be replaced. There was only 1 window shutter that did not have to be adjusted. The overflow drain in the tub of bath 3 had to be adjusted. That meant that the wall in the master bath had to be opened for that to be corrected. There is a dead tree in the back yard that was put in between us and our neighbor behind us. our neighbor notified the office before we did and it is still there. We now have a problem with the seat in the master shower where the top is lifting off the tile . So far every week has been a new problem! It is OLD! ... More

Careful about packages changing and not being notified. We now have a stove and two toilets that were down graded by someone? And never told. That is not what we paid for.

Our sales person seemed to lose interest once we signed the contract and was non-existent through the close. Sales person has yet to congratulate us on the new home. Low scores to sales. Pulte mortgage was impossible to deal with and dropped the ball several times to the point I used another lender and lost $8K from Pulte, but it was worth it. The bright shinning star was our construction project manager who was great to work with, communicative and very detail oriented. ... More

Stone Creek used 116,000 gallons of water on our sod prior to ours closing. After our closing we had inadvertently and quite accidentally and mistakenly used 92,000 gallons of water on our new sod. Isn’t that an excessive amount of water and a waste????? Perhaps your notice/awareness Regarding watering new sod to new homebuyers could be made with more emphasis regarding the awareness of the first and second water bill!!!!! It’s been very upsetting to get our first water bill - $733.46!!!!!! It’s absolutely absurd and a shame that we got this kind of bill!!! Very upsetting as new home buyers to Stone Creek!!! We have never experienced this kind of water bill anywhere ever!!!! This should NOT have happened!!! We would trust you more had this not have happened!!! Perhaps literature to new home buyers could be written with a stronger warning regarding their first water bill!!!!!! ... More

Hi. This is our third Pulte home and the quality of this home is less than our previous Pulte homes. Cheaper stainless sinks, substandard pitted granite, thermostat of lesser quality and features. No light over the kitchen sink. This is a 55+ community and the shower head is hard to reach for me and I am 6 feet. I have to get the shower head down for my wife who is 5'5". The lights are not centered over the island. They only needed to be moved 7" to make them correct. Not being able to increase the size of your patio screen enclosure which means I need to tear the whole thing down and rebuild completely new. We purchased 8' interior doors but we have a 6'8" interior door that you can see from the front door as you come in because the architects have no imagination and don't care how stupid it looks. Additionally, their solution doesn't even work because the A/C handling unit whines when the door is closed because there is not enough airflow going to the unit. The inability to even make the smallest changes that fix poor design ideas by the architects is not new with Pulte, but frustrating still. We liked the basic floorplan but we were hoping for better quality. Our sales person and field manager were excellent but they have no control over quality if it is OK with Pulte standards. Thanks. ... More

I'm not happy with the quality of the workmanship on our tile floor. Grout is not even seemed like the just slapped it down quickly, didn't use spacers so grout lines are uneven, some tiles are raised not happy with this. We were told they are within the quidelines. If they can get them perfect in the model homes the quality should be the same in all homes. Very discussed! ... More
