dry wall to thin. suggest to double thickness of drywall and rather charge a little more for what would be a big improvement.

If you're building new, hire a Home Inspector before closing, or better yet hire and Inspector during the build process. It will save time down the road.

Pulte has a great program for ensuring that buyers get what they want and pay only for that.

Working with Ken in sales was really good, he kept us informed about the progress of our home up till it was finished. Our building Supervisor Kohl kept in touch with us on each step of the build and corrected any issues that we had along the way. Understand you contract before you buy.

Homes are basically built very well, but at the same time they go up fast. Home buyers are given ample opportunity to stay abreast of plans, changes, and overall progress. COVID-19 has affected some aspects, and we wish we could have somehow "gotten the jump" on things like landscaping and window coverings so they could get started near closing. Very happy with the quality of our house. Everyone was very responsive durning the build process which was very helpful as we were not in the area.

We are overall very pleased with our new home. We do have issues but they are being taken care of.

Being on the East coast during the construction was difficult and didn’t have the best updates of construction.

Our overall experience was positive largely due to our sales consultant, Mark M., and our wonderful field manager, Nick. The “prices” are reasonable—BUT the cost of options to make the house livable is outrageous. The lack of complete sheathing in the framing stage—the Pulte process—is of concern to us. Even though Pulte Provides dumpsters, the construction lots are a mess—we are constantly picking up trash blown into our yard. Workers throw down food scraps, plastic bottles, and trash. Our experience has been a good one, this is the fifth new home we have owned. This has been the best build we have encountered so far.

I was happy to have had someone living in Sun City West that could keep track of the process. There were some issues that needed addressing in my absence as I was selling my home in Wash State until I moved down in late July. I enjoyed meeting my Project Mgr and consider him a friend. I was disappointed however. I had my Realtor Rep with me as well as my friend from SC when I made my selections at the Expressions Center. I had selected to be able to pick out my granite. I was excited to get the call to come down and select it. As it turned out, it was not put into my contract. I was also not aware at the time of selection that it would cost me $800 to do this. I had my representative select it as it was unable to return so late in the game and in the midst of my sell of my home and moving. I would have agreed. What disappointed as well, was that I was charged an additional $200 to make the change in my contract. It was not my fault that I WAS NOT INFORMED OF IT at the time I completed my contract selection..I was living out of state and returned for this meeting. I called Expressions to ask why I had not heard from them regarding my selection of granite . Both of my witnesses at the expression center said they heard me say yes to granite selection and nothing saying it would be additional $800. Like I said before, I would have agreed to that as it was such a special purchase. Aside from that, someone tried to rip my fire insert out after it was put in and before the house was secured by locks. Facing was found outside in the dirt! I had to insist that a crack in my foundation running full width of my house be sealed. I had electrical outlets placed in wrong places and EVEN had some covered up by the sheet rock contractors, which was missed by foreman!! Broken window by workers took weeks to finally get replaced. The quality of craftsmanship is not what I thought it would be and what I would expect from the wonderful advertisement. I was frustrated with the sloppiness and poor work done on my ventilation system . Crooked not centered off center. The quality of some the subcontractors is suspect and need to be addressed. Numerous owners around have complained about the work on their places. I hoped I wouldn't have problems but that is not realistic. I expect that the warranties and customer service be top shelf. I realize their is a lot of homes going up! I think the project Managers have too many to handle to be able to produce the quality that you expect. My previous home was custom and I enjoyed it for 23 years. I am going to enjoy my home here but hopefully my feedback will help you to do a better job of selecting contractors, thank you ... More
