Heather was great during the home buying process. But since I’ve closed escrow, the customer experience has just been ok. I understand that with COVID things have been challenging. But the only time I have contact with anyone is if I reach out to them. Kyle has been great. Responsive and efficient. Not sure what happened to the “other guy”. Not sure if the team is short staffed or what. Also, someone needs to do a better job clean up these construction sites. My neighbors and I always have trash in our yards. ... More

After moved in, the defects and repairs not easy to deal with the person in charge. Stressed and hard time. Sound like it has to be requested over and over again.

Century Communities responded:
Thank you for your candid feedback. We will address this with the division and team.

Customer Relations Manager has yet to resolve multiple issues. Have been living in home for months now and still have unresolved issues. Customer Relations Manager promised to fix these multiple issues including broken toilet, paint matching corrected stucco, doors installed incorrectly and cleaning dirty floors. Floors were left dirty and had to deep clean all the floors in which should have been clean prior to moving in. Doors were unable to lock; they can be pushed to open. Majority of doors were really squeaky and had to be reinstalled. Front door has opening on bottom; enough to where light comes in. They postponed the move in date by an entire month and focused on other houses being built. The electrical was so bad in the house, the electrician that came to fix it was shocked that this house passed inspection. We were left with no lights in multiple rooms for almost two weeks. The Customer Relations Manager rushed us through the walk through and tried to distract us from pointing out obvious mistakes. Had signed on the promise that these mistakes will be fixed. Word of advice: Don't sign anything no matter how trustworthy they seem; only until everything is fixed. ... More

We bought this home because of the Floorplan and Location and the Elevations. But, did not fo research on Century it self. This a over 4k home that has the qualities of a much lower price point home..need to put in alot of upgrades to bring up to a 400k standard such as lever door handles. It really basic stuff. That they went super cheap on. Please turn on the water in hall bathroom before buying. You can hear what sounds like a jet coming from the pipes..super embarrassing when company use that bath as the whole house can hear. Also no showers after 10pm it can be heard in the Master bathroom with the door closed across the house..very poor insulation. True we bought a spec home. We just expected higher quality.......apparently higher cost doesn't always mean higher quality. ... More

We were very excited to move into our new home. However there were several issues, from big stains of paint on every single room with carpet to brand new walls with bad repaired holes. The rack on the laundry room was installed up side down, some cabinets have waves inside, the heater didn't work, there was a water leak on the master shower, the garage door opener motor had to be replaced, the solar system still doesn't work, there was a missing lid on one of the air vents, and some other minor issues. We had a good responsiveness to the big issues that absolutely needed to be fixed, however it cost us several hours away from work and the inconvenience that comes with repairs. Issues like the waves inside the cabinets were addressed with a "maybe in the next 3 months" and "we'll call you". Issues like the paint stains on the carpets and the bad hole repairs were completely ignored. In general, the details inside the house were installed very poorly and the quality of the materials is not the best. ... More

We are 3 months into our new house and have had many issues. Holes in the floor, broken cabinets, chipped counter tops, sprinkler issues, dish washer not drying and water heater not getting hot. Still none of these issues are fixed. Would not recommend this builder I have given calls about this over and over again still waiting. ... More

If I could do it all over again I’d mostly purchase elsewhere. I will not purchase another century community home in my life.
