The Beazer team here in Bentley Park have been incredible! From the very detailed information provided and the knowledgeable and effective team the entire purchase experience has been top notch! Additionally, Beazer builds a very solid home and as a former home builder I really appreciate their thoughtful attention to detail and the quality of the construction.

Wes was my builder who I talked with every Monday. He had constant communication and was extremely helpful through the whole process. I couldn't be more happy with him and Beazer Homes.

Looked at numerous new homes from many builders in Cane Bay and found we liked the house built by Beazer the best. The outside had clean lines with subtle accents and the inside had really nice finishing touches. A couple of really minor issues were noticed after we moved in, and the Beazer team on-site were very quick to come by the house to see if they could fix it right away. We were first time home buyers with a lot of questions. Beazer's staff walked us through the process and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The general contractor for our home was more responsive than my own employees and always super helpful. We loved working with him.

First of all, the location is perfect. Just off I-526 and minutes from Charleston, Mount Pleasant, and North Charleston. The homes are quality with solid construction. A visitor to my new Beazer home commented "the stairs don't even creak". I love the styles - reflective of the Lowcountry. Most importantly, the staff, from the representative up front to the builder, they are highly professional and go above and beyond to please and make living here a pleasant experience. I just moved into my home and love it. The neighbors I have met are great and love it here and praise the staff. God has truly blessed me - I never thought I would have a new home this nice and in such a great location and a staff member and builder who truly care. I highly recommend considering. While there were a few minor issues in the build process, it really couldn't have much better. There were only a few fit and finish issues and the builder was on top of those promptly. After being in the home, I've noticed a couple of items that need to addressed through the warranty process, but they are very minor. Wonderful service from Debbie and Wes. Home was ready when they promised even with a week delay because of possible Hurricane. Considering this is not a custom home, I feel that there are many nice design features. Liked that I could customize floors, cabinets, countertops, etc. Granted at a price! Beazer is a good solid reliable builder.

It was a simple process compared to building a custom home. They have made the quality and options so diverse there are plenty of ways to customize. We were treated fairly and honestly. Love the house.

Process was very easy. Closed within 6 months of signing the contract. Michael (the builder) was great in accomidating any requests. House turned out great for the price.

This was our first home and overall, the experience was enjoyable. We were the first tenants in our section of the neighborhood so we faced the common issues closing on the first property. Design changes, delays, etc. Overall, the Beazer team did a nice job guiding us through the process.

Overall we are happy with new home in the Oaks Canebay area. Grass replacement in areas didn't happen. Still need partial wood for replaced. Grass we will wait till spring and check on then but it is concerning that it wasn't taken care of. Lot of water wasted waiting for hot water in kitchen. Same issues for showers. Might need 2nd tankless heater? Door bell on the fritz for 2nd time. Minor issues that hopefully will be addressed before 11 month. Development here is outstanding with great people. I still believe that Beazer is one of the better builders and will take care of our issues. ... More

Beaver was great got the house built in a timely manner. Only issue I have is the finishing touches were terrible. Chalking was done, flooring in bathroom bubbling up. Paint finishes not the best.

Overall process was ok but the actual build is not the best quality. A lot of things not done up to expectations. Seems the only thing they were worried about was their 5 star energy rating

Disappointed with some of the choices taken. Bought a spec home, so we didn't go through the build process with Beazer - but it's clear that the quality of materials and workmanship is basic at best. - Laminate flooring that is fine - except how unlevel it is. - Certain tile and countertop selections that are impossible to keep clean (cheap?). - Doors that are so lightweight that every time the AC shuts off, they vibrate. - A really cool microwave that is built into the cabinets of the island ... except its just the cheap one that has a swing open door - not a drawer ... so you have to get on your knees to see in the microwave! Not functional at all. - An HVAC unit that is installed within 10 feet of where I sleep. - Some plants installed in the wrong sunlight conditions ... they died within 2 weeks of purchase (even though the other plants installed right beside have survived). I know 600k in Mount Pleasant doesn't buy much land, but guess I expected more in the house quality. Neighborhood looks nice and well kept. Staff has always been friendly and responsive. Some promises was not even kept after they was documented. Hopefully my follow ups will get everything done, but the jury is still out.

star-rating Worst Buying Experience Ever

Probably one of the worst experiences I have had buying a home. When I inquired on a Friday about purchasing a new build home, I was informed there were no lots in the first phase that would accommodate the house I wanted, but that they would be opening the second phase soon. Surprisingly the next Monday I was told that lots had opened up in Phase 2! The lot I was interested, well, someone else had expressed interest in it to so I needed to hurry. I signed a contract on Tuesday, March 18th and was told construction would start in May and the house would be ready in October. May comes around with no updates. Then June. My real estate broker and I had to repeatedly call to get an update and each time we were told they were waiting on the plat recording and it would be ready in 2 weeks. July, August goes by. Still no updates from Beazer. At least once I had to drive there myself to demand an update. Was told 2 more weeks. I had signed a lease on a apartment that was up for renewal with no idea when we’d even start. I was paying hundreds of dollars each month for storage. Finally in September I get a good news update. No apology. No offer of a small concession for the now 5 month delay and considerable additional expense on my part. Of course now they needed to get the building permits! Construction started in October! The builder was great and kept me informed, but even as we neared there close date I was asked if we could move it! I insisted we kept the original date which was just a few days she of being 1 year since we signed the contract. Meanwhile after a few of us signed contracts, Beazer decided to lower the quality of the additional homes purchased in Phase 2. The homes being constructed now are all vinyl siding and cheap shingles and windows . Not the quality neighborhood I expected when I contracted. There is also no attention to making sure there is a variety of color and home choices. I feel like I live in track housing! ... More

I like my home, but the problem is that my car was damaged by a Beezer subcontractor and Beazer has made no effort to rectify the situation. The repair cost is minimal to the car, it's the principal that Beazer does not accept responsibility for it's subcontractors. Considering this I do not encourage anyone to buy a Beazer home.
