This new home community in Hickory Creek, Texas also has access to five parks located nearby. There is a voluntary parks board that works tirelessly to create some of the best looking parks in the greater Denton County area. This hard work has earned the town recognition by Tree City USA for the last decade, and each year the town celebrates Arbor Day. Point Vista is a favorite fishing spot for many residents. It has a boat ramp and ample parking for trucks with boats in tow. Sycamore Bend is located just west of the I-35E at the end of Sycamore Bend Road. It is an ideal spot for picnics or spending summer days on a boat. Sycamore Bend Park also has some nice walking trails for locals enjoying shady daily walks.
