If the team that assisted us with our home purchase is any reflection of this company than you are in good hands. Priscilla was our sales rep. She was AMAZING! We met her at a different subdivision but ended up purchasing in New Braunfels, and we begged to keep her. She was so sweet to my family and was super accommodating. She drove completely out of her way to meet with my family in New Braunfels to tell us about the home instead of pawning us off to someone else. If we ever reached out to her she was quick to get back to us. Matt, our project manager...I think that is his job title, was absolutely one of the best parts of the experience. Despite me telling him that it was not necessary to reach out to me every week, he did anyways. When we went through our house on the first walk-through, he was extremely thorough and patient with us. Not once when we asked for something to get adjusted did he even act like we were inconveniencing him. Most of the requests we had, he jumped on the same day. I would call him and felt like I blinked and he was knocking on our door to help. This was an amazing experience and truly believe Priscilla and Matt should be used as benchmarks for any company on how to treat a customer. We bought a fabulous Pulte Home in the Alamo Ranch community of San Antonio, TX. I have to commend the entire Pulte team for a job well done. This is our fourth house with moving so much. They did a great job building it and met the deadline even with the tremendous amount of rain. Of course with any new house, you will find small things that require fixing. They didn't leave us high and dry; they responded to our requests in a timely and friendly manner. We LOVE our home. Pulte was easy to work with, met their deadlines, and answered our questions. When we had a sewer issue, we called the emergency number at 3:30 am and got a human! Then, Brandon, the warranty specialist fought for us with the city, and all utility companies to get the problem resolved so quickly. We love our home. Fell in love when we first walked through it. Bruce is an amazing salesman and was spot on through the whole process. We appreciate the guy tremendously. Materials... we are finding some here and there issues, but nothing detrimental. We do think that some of the contractors used should be reconsidered; however, we are happy nonetheless. The home is gorgeous. My wife and I are proud to call the home built by Pulte as our home. Trusting it was built with care consideration is in question. Material seems to be high quality but the workmanship is below average. We found areas that were not sealed, parts damaged such as shelves that were cleverly hidden, the trees died outside within a week of moving in, windows scratched with a knife (assuming to remove the plastic cover), and the list goes on. It hasn't been even a month yet. The saving grace is the responsiveness of the build manager. Pulte gives a 30 day support after closing to take care of issues we find. The build manager is very positive and willing to help. From the build manager I can tell Pulte hires their direct employees with focus on experience. I'm not sure they do the same for their contractors. Coming from California where a home like the one we purchased would be 4 times the price. We'd recommend Pulte. ... More

This home is beautiful, but since it was still being built upon purchase (we did not build this home), we relied on the sales team to ensure we understood everything about the home. We were told/shown that our yard would be a lot bigger than what it is. The fence was put in seemingly rushed and uneven. The in-home WiFi was a HUGE selling point by the sales team, but 6 weeks later NO ONE knows how to get them to work and now I’m being told it wasn’t part of the “package deal” that the sales team NEVER pointed out. Additionally, upon move in, multiple items that were pointed out during the final walk-through were not fixed. The tile of the home is an absolute pain to maintain and was stained with black marks upon move in, so 8.5 month pregnant me was on my hands and knees with a magic eraser trying to scrub the marks off but they inevitably return since the tile is rough and was not sealed. My wife and I purchased this new home when we moved to Texas from Georgia. The house has major air conditioning issues to this day that have not been corrected (12 A/C service calls), there have been multiple issues that had to be addressed that should have been caught by the builder before we closed yet were identified after closing, the master bedroom closet shelves collapsed, and the overall effort of the Pulte team to address customers concerns with their new homes after closing is below average to say the least. My experience with Pulte with regards to repairs after closing has not been very pleasant due to excessive issues with the house that drove multiple repair visits. To put this review in perspective, we have been in the house less than 2 months and have experienced more issues with this house in this short period than we have with all of our other properties combined over the past 5 years. The field level Pulte team and managers are nice, courteous, and professional when dealing with customers, but seem to be lack the authority to make repair decisions or they are too apprehensive to make the decisions when the repairs are clearly needed. Customers expect what they pay for which is reasonable yet I don't feel like Pulte focuses enough attention on customer requests after closing. I believe Pulte Homes is struggling with a skilled trades labor pool, as well as sufficient job site supervision. While there are a number of things that are flawless with our home, there are also a number of things that continue to be issues that should have been addressed. Pulte Homes presented themselves as craftsman that could provide an upscale home backed by a national brand. When push came to shove, the real answer, from their own mouths, is that they are just a production builder. If you are the type of customer that expects great attention to detail, you will need to be incredibly involved in the build process. Much more than you might believe is necessary, unfortunately. My ratings reflect a mediocre experience. I would caution a friend to be careful, but I also would not tell them to run away. Unfortunately our excitement to move into our new home was quickly replaced with regret. This is the second house we have had built new and this one looks and feels like it was rushed to completion with little to no attention to detail. Our cabinets were not level, the handles were not even close to even, the trim and paint were both very sloppy, the stonework was falling apart (literally stone falling off), there was/is paint and stain on the carpet and tile, the yard wasn’t flattened before the sod was laid, the list goes on. We have been in our house for 6 weeks. The craftsmanship is not great and we can see some corners have been cut to get these house completed faster. Our major concern is the lot and grass. I have already called and requested part of my lawn be replaced since the grass never took and is now dead. We argued about the slope in the back and said it would be a problem and it is. They refused to address this issue and ignored my concerns. The carpet is not great and we paid for upgraded material but feel it is still sub par. Pulte Homes has provided a pretty good product. Located in the Sendero project of Veramendi in New Braunfels, Tx, it is a very expensive product. Pulte's contact personnel have been excellent to deal with. My only real disappointment is the dead tree in the center of the front yard. This is our first time buying a Pulte Home, we've owned a DR Horton home. Pulte did offer everything that we were looking for in a home, which was the reason why we went with Pulte. But Pulte lacks that eye for detail in the workmanship of their homes. Poor caulking technique throughout the home, grout on the tile that was not cleaned up before we moved in, lack of detail in their sheet rock cutting. Follow up is poor to get the work completed. Pulte warranty department never answers the phone, and when you leave a message they don't call back. I called them on Wednesday June 19, 2019 and today is July 1, 2019 and I still haven't received a call.
