The builder was very helpful during the process, and is still always available to answer any questions I have! Also the response time on the service request was very quick, and an appointment has been set to get a few things straightened out.

Pulte homes has one of the best customer service. And it gives me peace of mind. Usually, after closing, you don’t hear from the builder anymore. But pulte homes have a 30 day window to check if there’s any other issues after closing.

Despite a few minor setback, our overall experience with Pulte from day one was a positive one. Our saleslady was very knowledgeable, personable, & replied to emails & phone calls in a very timely fashion. The design center experience was a fun one as well. Our project manager was very communicative with us in every step of the build process. He also answered questions & responded to concerns we raised in a very timely fashion. Securing our financing through Pulte Mortgage was not difficult, but our loan officer, though very friendly, could have been more helpful. We weren't provided with many different loan products or scenarios to fit out budget. We had to do our own research of available loan structures & bring them to her attention. Fortunately, Pulte offered the same products that others did, we just didn't know about them up front. The overall construction of our house met our expectations. It was completed faster than we thought, which raised some concerns that certain things may have been rushed or overlooked. One example was the interior paint job. Most rooms in the house either had a very thin layer of paint or a lot of drywall overspray in spots. We paid for upgraded paint inside the house, & we don't feel we got our money's worth. There were a few other disappointing things as well, but nothing that was a deal breaker. For example, midway through the build process, they decided to change the vanity in the master bathroom to one that had fewer drawers & less functionality. We were not really given a decent explanation for this, & my wife was very upset about it (still is). Another example was the way they went about installing tubes inside of the walls to hide cables for wall-mounted TV's. It was not done how we were lead to believe. It ended up being an incredible headache. Aside from a few other negligible things, we are very satisfied with our new home. Mike the site leader is extremely personable, knowledgeable and committed to do right by the customer. We found a number of issues during the final walkthru that were quickly addressed to our satisfaction. We just recently provided a list of items as part of the 30 day inspection and I am confident they will be as responsive on those as they were on the walkthru list. Quality is deteriorating than earlier deliveries. I moved from 14 yr old Pulte home to new home built by Pulte and next day onwards started having water leaks, A/C faults, un-wired utilities, site grading issue and the list goes on. As a first time homebuyer I was nervous about the process, although it was stressful, I don't think I'd rather go through the experience with home buying with any other company but Pulte.

The Field manager we had was/is awesome. Field manager oversees construction from beginning to end. Inside the home every effort I feel was made to complete on time and with quality. There were things I thought could have been done better that I did not notice until after closing. Mainly outside. Someone once told me that when you build with a company (like Pulte), the same guys building the 200k houses, build the 400k houses and the 750k houses in the development. Great neighborhood but seems like things were rushed at the end. A lot of less than quality work mad been found after we moved in. We are getting lots fixed but horrible drywall work can’t be fixed. But we love neighborhood and house design.

Its been over a month and we still haven't got a call from pulte about repairs as we were told we will receive a call. They are many issues in the house need to be fixed. No response from pulte yet.

We purchased a new Pulte home at Epperson Ranch just over a month ago. It was a quick move-in home so we didn't have any input into the finishings or design. Nevertheless, we liked what we saw so we went ahead to purchase it. Although it was a brand new home, we decided to pay the extra $$ to get a new home inspection done, and we were very glad we did! Although the home itself was structurally sound, he found many areas that needed to be addressed. These included nails protruding on the roof, unfinished painting on the outside and inside, missing/malfunctioning door stoppers, incomplete sealants around the sink and so forth. It had a lot to do with sloppy workmanship. We were very surprised by the number of flaws that were identified by the inspector considering it was a brand new house. We shared this information with Pulte about two weeks before closing and they agreed to address everything before closing. We met with building supervisor three days before closing and even though they said they addressed all the issues, when we did the walk through it was noted that not everything was taken care of. The supervisor promised that it will all be fixed before closing. We met again few hours before closing and did a final walk through. During this time, the remaining issues had been addressed and we proceeded to close later that day. It was just disappointing that a new home had so many flaws. If we didn't do the home inspection, we would have been clueless to it all. I expected a higher quality of workmanship and integrity from Pulte from the very beginning. ... More

Pulte did not meet our expectations with respect to the quality of workmanship of the house. There were so many drywall issues before closing which Pulte didn't bother fixing and asked us to close the home first and rest will be taken care right after closing. It's been 6 weeks since we moved in and our drywalls were not fixed as promised. They kept postponing dates and only performed temporary fixes and not resolving the issue as a whole. Pulte hires bad contractors who do bad jobs. They don't follow Field Manager's instructions. Field Managers are overloaded and they don't have enough bandwidth to monitor quality of work. Pulte's internal quality team does pathetic job and that's why they certify home with so many issues which homeowner need to point out. Upon purchasing my home I was told about several walk through processes that would happen to ensure my satisfaction with the house. None of those meetings have been accomplished, and when multiple issues arrived including drainage issues and flooding the company was not available to speak on important foundational issues. I feel as though I was offered the moon and the stars at closing, and none of that has come into fruition. This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing process.
